Tranquil Lake Michigan Lakeshore Cottage with Sauna

Enjoy Lake front living at its finest. Beautiful Views of Lake Michigan in a very private setting with private beach frontage. Sauna with amazing views. This cottage has all the amenities to create a wonderful vacation on Lake Michigan. We are located on Lake Michigan with deeded access to Pigeon Lake and access to a private beach, board walk, and boat access. The unique landscape of Port Sheldon has created an beach that remains nearly untouched from recent lake level issues. This is a family friendly community that is just a short drive to both Grand Haven and Holland. We have wi-fi, Smart TVs, tennis, basketball, and shuffleboard courts.

Our stay was absolutely amazing here. We enjoyed the incredible deck and view and the coziness of the hang out area up stairs. The beach was beautiful and the house exceeded all of our expectations. Aubree was very responsive and sweet. The neighbors are also nice. Great stay!

Great beach!

This is a great place for a family to share. There’s a lovely deck for meals and sunset watching, and the house is on a beautiful stretch of beach with great swimming!

Lake Michigan Perfect Cottage

This cottage fit our family of 10 perfect. Our 4 grandchildren enjoyed the bunk room. There was enough room for all of us to sleep comfortably. The kitchen island works well for preparing meals, game playing and enough seating to hang out. The boardwalk to the beach made easy access to the beach. Parking is a bit challenging, but overall our stay was amazing. We all loved our stay. Our host was very responsive to any questions asked. Thank you so much.

“Best lake house ever!”

This home and its owner are true gems! The view from the porch is SPECTACULAR and to have a Lake Michigan beach without a 200 stair walk down is so hard to find. We spent mornings on the porch with coffee, days at the private association beach, evenings grilling and watching sunsets, and nights watching movies together. It was a perfect vacation and one my kids dubbed the “best lake house ever!” We stayed with my whole family including kids, dog and grandma. There was more than enough space for us. Everyone was super comfortable. The home layout is very nice because most of the bedrooms are together downstairs. This added extra peace of mind with small kids. The kitchen had all the necessities for a full week of home cooked meals. The outdoor shower was absolutely clutch. For my running/biking friends, the area around the home is fabulous for you. I am very used to running down highway shoulders or farm roads in Michigan, but West Olive has miles of paved trails that made it very easy (it’s just shy of a mile from front door to first entry into the trail). The county parks nearby are also great to explore. We hiked at Pine Bend (perfect size for a 2nd grader). Also briefly explored Olive Shores and Windsnest. Both cool, small parks. Windsnest has a playground. Last but not least, Aubree’s hospitality and communication are second to none. She made sure everything was set and made it extremely easy for us leading up to and throughout the trip. A+ host.

Four generation family vacation

We had a lovely week. The house is perfect for families that need lots of beds but not lots of privacy. The big room for gathering was perfect for our group. The outside deck has beautiful sunset views and the beach is lovely. This house might not be perfect for anyone who might have difficulty with stairs.

Incredible Views!

This cottage came with everything we needed for a relaxing week at the beach. The sunset views were incredible. The house was very clean and comfortable. Would recommend to family and friends. Hope to visit again soon!
