Independent villa. Ideal for families and groups looking for comfort.
You can enjoy the quiet of a residential complex while being just a few minutes from the bustling historic center and the central beaches of Otranto.
Equipped with a large veranda with large table, barbecue in the garden (owned), and outdoor shower: excellent for relaxing in total privacy after a long day at the beach or in the alleys of Otranto, before venturing into the famous Salento nightlife.
Inside, the house is structured on two levels.
- in the living area there are: a large bright kitchen with dining table and complete with all accessories (dishwasher, oven, fridge, etc.); a living / lounge area with sofa bed; equipped bathroom.
- in the sleeping area: two bedrooms with a total of 6 beds and independent exits in the courtyards of the property; equipped bathroom.
- depandance with two single beds and an equipped bathroom.

The house is equipped with all comforts such as air conditioning, TV, independent heating, solarium area, private parking space and includes an independent laundry area.

First visit to Otranto

The area is beautiful and there is a lot to see. The home was nice, could have used a microwave oven to avoid running the regular oven, especially when the temperature is as high as when we were there. Naturally is not as comfortable as home but for a rental it was good and the owner was very nice and tried to fix the one problem we had. Would go back if we have the opportunity.

Great place to stay

The hosts should consider a smoother check in and check out procedure. There was a general lack of effective communication. The layout was a bit unusual with one full bathroom next to the kitchen and not near either of the main bedrooms. We only found out about a third bedroom into our stay. The property also had several expense items that are unusual including having to rent and pay extra for linens and requiring a security deposit refundable by the host after an inspection on check out. We have not run into those costs on a home stay rental. Having said that, the property is very nice and quiet and in a very convenient location to the old town and shops.

Thank you for your precious review. As you know I have had a little personal problem the day of your arrival so I had to find an alternative way to welcome you without any problems, however I’m considering how to improve the procedure to make it smoother. The linen cost and the deposit are well underlined in the home description, and I have described all of them by the first email in order to make everything clear and avoid any misunderstanding. They’re usual expenses and I couldn’t make them more evident. Hope to host you again for you next vacations!

Posizione ottima, in cinque minuti a piedi si è al centro di Otranto senza prendere l'auto. Pulizia della casa ottima, cordiali i proprietari. Ampi spazi interni ed esterni, tre bagni, doccia comodissima all'esterno, giardino e terrazza attrezzati con barbecue. Da consigliare in maniera assoluta. Bellissima esperienza

Splendida villa situata in una zona residenziale molto tranquilla. La posizione è davvero ottima perchè permette di scendere al centro di Otranto a piedi evitando qualsiasi mezzo. Camere fresche e pulite. Bellissimo patio esterno da sfruttare per colazione o cena. Assolutamente consigliata anche per l'host Sergio molto disponibile.

Proprietà con pulizia impeccabile, e super accessoriata. Posizione ottima, si riesce a raggiungere il centro di Otranto e la spiaggia in 10 minuti a piedi; abbiamo soggiornato in nove e gli spazi erano abbondanti per tutti. Unica pecca, il piano cottura è un po'scadente, i fuochi sono un po' difettosi.

Villetta grande , spaziosa con tutti i comfort: aria condizionata, cucina con lavastoviglie, due bagni e due camere grandi e un portico dove si può cenare. Il giardino è bellissimo. Il centro di Otranto è raggiungibile a piedi in dieci minuti. Zona tranquilla e silenziosa.

Stupenda!

Casa molto confortevole, le stanze, nonostante il caldo, sono sempre state fresche, non abbiamo avuto bisogno di accendere l'aria condizionata. Zona tranquilla ma vicino al centro città (ci si arriva con una passeggiata di 10 minuti). Sicuramente ci torneremo!

Totale relax.

Eravamo già stati ospiti del Sig. Sergio alcuni anni fa. Nessuna sorpresa quindi nel constatare che il villino, mantenuto in condizioni ottimali, si trova in zona tranquilla e silenziosa, ad una distanza da Otranto percorribile anche a piedi. Sottolineo infine che il Sig. Sergio si è sempre dimostrato cortese e disponibile nel soddisfare le nostre esigenze.

Good location, large house with onsite parking.

House is within easy walking distance of the centre of Otranto. Well equipped kitchen and a very useful 2 bathrooms. Had everything we needed . The decor is a little tired and could do with refreshing .

Comfortable house, many beaches, good food

After a 10 day stay I can recommend this house late August. Two families with a dog, it was possible. The city of Otranto is attached and in 10 minutes you can reach the center and all commercial activities. In the vicinity there are beautiful villages both on the sea and in the hinterland. The food obviously yummy. There are many beaches within 10 km, sand or rock. The owners very nice and helpful.

Buon Soggiorno

Buona struttura in zona tranquilla distante solo 15 min a piedi dal centro storico di Otranto. Abbiamo trascorso una settimana in due famiglie e lo spazio era assolutamente adeguato. Molto bella la terrazza esterna ed il giardino, in ordine e ben curato. Qualche piccolo problema nei servizi previsti (lavatrice e Wi-Fi) ai quali il Sig. Sergio ci ha assicurato che avrebbe rimediato rapidamente.

Great stay

We had a great stay at this property! The house is well maintained and clean, close walk to Otranto historic downtown, and in a quiet dead end street. I would strongly recommend it. The dependence gets really hot and steamy since it doesn’t have A/C, but in the main house it’s perfect. Thank you Sergio for your hospitality!

La villetta del sig. Sergio è veramente molto bella e funzionale, soprattutto per le esigenze di una famiglia. La casa è fresca e dotata di ogni comfort, dai condizionatori alla lavastoviglie. Il centro di Otranto è raggiungibile a piedi ed è situata in una zona veramente tranquilla. Veramente consigliata!
