About this property

Come and enjoy some peace and quiet at the Pumpkin hollow Inn

This beautiful cozy cabin sits on the end of a dead end road so there is very little traffic more four wheelers than anything will drive by.
The cabin sits on 8 acres of land .
This cabin was built ten years ago .
It has two bedrooms which sleeps 5 people . The master bedroom has a queen size bed tv and DVD player . The second bedroom has a full lower bunk bed and single upper bunk bed tv and DVD player and a play station
There is a single fold out cot under the bunk bedroom bed if needed .
So you could sleep six if needed.
You can heat the cabin by either the beautiful wood burning stove or from the new 3500 BTU propane furnace I just had installed either way the place heats up very nicely . If wood is needed there are $10 20x20 bins for sale on the side of the camp.
The bathroom is run by a 40 gallon hot water tank . And is equipped with a hot shower a sink and a toilet. And run by a brand new freshly dug well that I changed the filter on every 3 months .
There is also a outhouse located outside if you prefer The rustic toilet feel and smell LOL

The back deck has a bar and six bar stools and a large frig and over looks a beautiful creek just 15 feet from the deck and runs the whole property line .
There are 4 wheeler trials and hiking trails all over . Also just added a juke box that is set on free play for your enjoyment,
No smoking inside the cabin but allowed on back deck ashtrays provided
I just redid the fire pit area that sits right over the creek and it turned out amazing . By far the nicest fire pit area on VRBO as you can see from the photos . Your not going to find a nicer fire pit area anywhere . please collect your own wood for outside fires . Or wood is available for ten dollars for a 20 x20 bin .. There is a charcoal grill on the back deck bring your own charcoal . There is also a gas grill newly added . There is also a small shed with fold out chairs and games inside can jam . Large left right center game. horseshoes .washer toss . beer pong table. croquet game
Corn hole game . WIFI is available. Also A fire stick with a ton of free channels and over 2000 different DVD to choose from It is pet friendly pets love it down there .Just added 1200 BTU air conditioner unit cools 600 square feet . There are also fans in both bedrooms if needed .
Come relax and enjoy the beautiful stars at night and the beautiful sound of the babbling brook during the day. Please no firearms hunting or trapping allowed

We absolutely loved it here. One hundred percent as described. Pet friendly- our 2 beasts roamed the creek, it was pretty dry but that was expected. This cabin is like being far far away. Great rental, great communication with the owner, just perfect overall.

Cabin getaway

Mike is a great host that responds immediately. We were looking for a rustic getaway in the woods that was pet friendly to bring our beloved dog. We enjoyed the yard games, firepit, walking in the creek/woods, and just hanging out in peace and quiet.

We had a wonderful time there. The cabin is beautiful perfect with the creek. Find a nice fireplace outside the owners kept in touch with us. We had a great time.

Awesome place

This is the best camp 4 wheeler place I’ve ever been to the cabin is sweet the trails go on for ever we had just the best time we even got to sit on the back porch thru a wicked thunderstorm we all can’t wait to rent it out again Believe me if you want a quiet place all set up and ride wheelers this is that place no disappointments Thanks Mike !!!

Great communication with the property manager through the entire stay!! Wonderful little cabin with all necessary amenities. Outdoor fire pit area is wonderful! Overlooks a creek and the combination of fire crackling with stream babbling is the most relaxing experience!!

Fantastic place!

This was probably the best place we have ever stayed at. The girls and I only had a weekend to get away and Mike has so much to do there that even the teens were kept busy. He has put so much effort into adding all the extra touches to make your stay problem free and very fun! The fossil hunting in the creek is great. We will definitely be regulars!

What a beautiful setting!

We enjoyed our stay at Pumpkin Hollow Inn. The property is stunning! The kids loved playing on the swings and around the creek (even in the snow!!) We got around 4 inches of snow during our stay and the driveway was plowed for us while we were out skiing! Everything we needed was there and readily available. All the comforts of home for a weekend away!

The place is fantastic. So many cool little surprises. Light show blew the kids away. Cozy wood burning stove. Short little drive to Holiday Valley. Host was on top of everything and super accommodating. Highly recommended!!

Lily and I loved the trail . We wandered for hours in the morning . The cabin was perfect and had everything we needed. We went to willow bay and she swam and chased sticks then we sat by the stream in the evening. . The setting was beautiful! Mike and Francis were very available for anything we needed. Hope come back next year!

Pumpkin Hollow fall getaway

It’s our second stay at the cottage and we love it here ! Was beautiful to see the leaves changing color ! First night made a big fire and enjoyed the light show ! We ended up having a rainy day and found lots to do inside playing games and watching movies also listening to the juke box ! Our dog Bella loves it being at the cabin too!! Thank you so much again Mike and Francis can’t wait to come back again !

Creekside beauty

We loved this little cabin by the creek. It was the perfect little get away at the end of the school year for our teenage son, and his friend. We loved that this cabin welcomes pets and our pup Oakley enjoyed the creek immensely. This unique cabin was just we expected. We loved the campfire area and enjoyed making smores. Everything you could need for cooking on site was there. The light show was also pretty cool! Thank you for a great trip! We hope to come back soon.

Second wonderful stay

I cannot say enough positive things about the property or the owner. You get exactly what you see in the pics and then some. The property is serene, tranquil and overall impressive. My dog loves to chase leaves in the stream and we love the sound of the water running through. Just close enough to conveniences, restaurants and pet friendly activities yet far enough for true relaxation. The layout of the cabin definitely makes it feel roomy. The open layout of kitchen and living room is perfect. I know we will be back!!! Thanks for have such a wonderful place.

Perfect slice of the outdoors

This place was the best! First off the owner Mike is extremely accommodating and is very helpful and kind! My wife our dog and myself wanted to get away for the weekend before our first child is born. Luckily this place found us - The rustic look and feel was just perfect. We had brought our side by side down and cruised the trails (Thanks for the map Mike!) The neighbors are extremely friendly and on top of all this your still close to escape to go to the town for a dinner if you would like. We will be back 100% there is so much to do on the property and also around the property A++++ and you can just sit by the fire and listen to the creek!"

A reunion of old friends

We arranged for a reunion of some high school friends who hadn't seen each other in close to 30 years. Our group has a history of camping together in Allegheny as kids and thought it would be a perfect place to re-connect. Pumpkin Hollow was just what we were needing. We weren't looking for anything extravagant as the fire-pit was our main focus and we used it plenty spending the evenings getting to know each other again. This booking was well, well, worth it and if we decide to do this again we'll definitely be checking on availability.

Amazing location, perfect accommodations!

Wow. what a wonderful escape for a few days! We loved everything this camp has to offer. My husband and I brought our young adult kids aged 18-21 and there was plenty to keep everyone happy. Just being together, playing yard games, playing cards, listening to music, exploring the creek, sitting on the porch, watching the amazing light show. Even the rain was welcomed! Mike has everything you could possibly need at Pumpkin Hollow Inn and is readily accessible to answer any questions. Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven. We look forward to a return visit!
