Great Family House

It was the perfect house for a group of girl friends. Walkable to town, a warm reception and great response from the homeowner. She even checked in on us periodically to make sure all was well. Nice bedrooms and baths and great kitchen setup. Highly recommend for a family or a group of friends.

Wonderful Stay

We loved our experience. House is beautiful and big and roomy. We had a warm welcome with milk, butter and jam in the refrigerator. Homemade gorgeous scones too! We loved being able to walk to the shops and the Killarney Gardens. We were all comfortable and slept well in the comfortable beds. Highly Recommend!

Home away from home

Many, many thanks to Lisa for sharing her beautiful home with us. We were celebrating my 70th birthday and 40th wedding anniversary with family. The house was spotless and there was plenty of room for everyone to enjoy. The house was just a 10 minute walk to the heart of Killarney where we enjoyed the many pubs. Lisa's warm welcome included balloons for our celebration, scones, butter, jam and Killarney beer! Wonderful memories were made. Thank you Lisa!

What a wonderful place to stay. We couldn’t have ask We were a group of 11. Five of the bedrooms had their own nice private bathroom. nice modern kitchen with huge island and separate washer dryer area. Easy walk to Killarney National Park Killarney Brewery and the rest of this charming little city. Lisa was so welcoming and accommodating. Check in and out was a breeze and communication was excellent. My highest recommendations! We can’t wait to come back

Killarney Vacation

Great house for family vacation with rooms for everyone and private baths for adults. The two family/living rooms allowed for kids and adults to have their own space as necessary. Kitchen was well stocked and roomy. Appliances were modern and washer and dryer came in handy. Large yard with grille and tables provided space for kids to play and adults to relax. Location in quiet neighborhood with a short walk to town are great. In the heart of Kerry home is well located for trips in all directions especially the great golf courses nearby and Ring of Kerry. Overall great house with a gracious host. Highly recommend!

Perfect Killarney Group Vacation Home

We had an amazing stay at Lisa's property in Killarney. We were a group of 10 adults in town for a wedding, and we could not have picked a better vacation home for our trip! The house was spotless, had tons of space, and every amenity you would need. The kitchen was stocked with all of the utensils and cookware you need-- we made breakfast at the house every morning. We walked from the house to town and the National Park every day. Lisa was a fantastic host from start to finish! We would absolutely recommend this rental property to any larger groups visiting Killarney. 5 stars across the board.

Once in a lifetime experience

Eight family members flew from the US to stay at this beautiful VRBO that seemed to be made just for us. The house, with the two living areas and six bedrooms (four with en suites!), made it so livable with young and old. Lisa made our stay so enjoyable, always available to help and happy to do it. The location is remarkable given the size of the home. We must have walked many hundreds of miles, with the only difficulty the steep hill leading to the driveway! All of us would definitely recommend Dromhall House (did I get that right?) for the experience of a lifetime! Thank you, Lisa!

Wonderful!!!

From the very beginning, where we were greeted very early in the morning, with warmth and goodies/pastries to the very end where we got a lovely thank you note for being great guests helped make the stay that much better. Lisa is a wonderful host!!! The multiple bedrooms with their own bathrooms made it easy to break away from the group and the two living rooms ( we named one living room with different names: quiet room/reading room) allowed people to read or relax without being bothered by others. The best part was the kitchen counter allowed all of us to play card games together all night long. Easy walk into town and to the national park made the trip cheaper and easier as we didn’t need to rent a car. I would rent this place again in a heartbeat.

Exactly as described

We are mainly from the US and we’re looking for a place at short notice to stay at during a family funeral. It’s possible that this house was available because it was listed as a 6 bed 1.5+ bathroom place - when it actually has 5.5 bathrooms. We were allowed to stay even though the owner Lisa couldn’t access my profile and was flying blind with respect to the tenants. It worked perfectly for us. Lots of en suite bedrooms, two lounges, a large kitchen and parking for more cars than the 4 we had. Close to everything. It backs on to other houses so not the place for a party but it was perfect for us.

Beautiful property

What a beautiful home. Clean and modern. Very accessible to the amenities: coffee shop, groceries, town, convention center, shopping! We loved our stay. House is well stocked with essentials - so very helpful especially after coming in from a long drive from Dublin. Lisa is very welcoming, accommodating, and a delightful host. No complaints - highly recommended!

Dromhale house is the best!

This is the perfect house for a group! We had 6 couples and were so comfortable. Almost all bedrooms had their own nice private bathroom. There were 2 separate big living spaces with doors so others who were napping wouldn’t be disturbed plus nice modern kitchen with huge island and separate washer dryer area. Easy walk to Killarney National Park Killarney Brewery and the rest of this charming little city. Lisa was so welcoming and accommodating. Check in and out was a breeze and communication was excellent. My highest recommendations! We can’t wait to come back

Golf Trip With Friends

We wanted to have a six bedroom house close enough to town so we could visit a variety of pubs and restaurants without driving. Five of the bedrooms had their own bathrooms Hosts were accommodating to our later than expected arrival and provided some good intel on where to dine and imbibe in Killarney. The house was well stocked with the essentials. House was very fresh and neat. We grilled a few time on the outdoor grill and found everything we needed in the kitchen to round out our meals. Couple of separate lounging living rooms with smart TV’s would be great for those traveling with youngsters A quality rental with great owners

Perfect place for a large group of family & friends

The house was absolutely perfect, there were 9 adults and one child in our group and there was plenty of room. Lisa has the house kitted out with everything you could ask for. Lisa was great throughout, checking everything was OK and when the hot water was left turned off by the previous guests she had a plumber out within a couple of hours to sort the problem. A great experience from start to finish, and when we are back in Killarney it'll be the first place we'd look to stay. Highly recommended!

Beautiful house in a fantastic location

We had a fantastic stay at Dromhale House. The house is beautiful and is extremely spacious with en-suite bathrooms for every room. It has a large garden area, which is great for children. It is perfectly located right in the centre of Killarney with plenty of activities nearby.
