Our family looks forward to this trip all year and it's the perfect blend of modern amenities and seclusion in the woods. Thank you for another wonderful week!
A wonderfully updated north woods cabin, with all the amenities. We loved our stay in this beautiful log home with AC and WiFi... perfect for all ages!
We have been coming to this cabin on beautiful Caribou Lake for 3 years. It’s our annual summer trip. It’s a quiet, clean beautiful cabin and lake. We will continue to book each summer!
Loved the cabin!! Amazing view, peaceful, secluded and relaxing! The hot tub was a great add to the relaxing weekend my husband and I needed. Beautiful property!
Wonderful cedar cabin with so much room! It’s as pretty as the pictures. We enjoyed a “spring” break surrounded by snow, forest, and a hot tub. We’d love to come back again in winter weather or to enjoy the lake in the summer.
Cabin is clean, rehab was done beautifully, tasteful decor, and owners were VERY fast to respond when we had a question. Rented for deer hunting, hoping to come back in summer to enjoy the lake.
We had a wonderful time with the kids at this cabin! The cabin was very cozy and relaxing. The owners decorated for Christmas which was a wonderful suprise and looked beautiful. The lake was easy to access for ice fishing and snowmobile trails were nearby. We will be back!
My husband I came for a quiet anniversary get a way. We loved the location and the cabin is beautiful. We were able to snowshoe on the lake and then warm up in the hot tub. The place was really cozy for the two of us, but there is so much room we could also see having our whole family there. The communication from the host was really great and prompt. We look forward to returning when there isn't snow as I can image even more options for exploring and utilizing what the property has to offer.
Very dirty, had to sweep before we unpacked. Mosquitos were really bad INSIDE the cabin. By the 3rd day we got them all killed.

Hey Jacob,
I am very sorry to hear about the condition you found the cabin as that is obviously not up to our standards. If you would of communicated that with us while you were there I would of passed that along to our housekeeper to remedy the situation for you.
We will communicate this with our housekeeper and let them know about this review so future guests won’t have that experience.
Was not sure what to expect when we arrived as it was our first vrbo experience. Wife couldn't believe we had the whole place to ourselves. Can't say enough good things. Any negatives would be nitpicks-i think my biggest was the binder mentioning streaming services and that seemed to mean they were downloaded for use, as opposed to a cabin account (we accessed Netflix because we don't have it normally and there was an account logged in). If it was an issue, I would have reached out, but I'm in a lake cabin for memorial day weekend, tv shouldn't be a priority.
The other awesome features I missed were bird feeders and a sliding screen door. Again, nitpicks. This place defines phenomenal.
Bonus points for the semi hidden Mule cups!
It was exactly as described on the listing- even better- spacious, clean, tastefully decorated and the beds were comfortable. The owners were quick to respond to questions.
The cabin was overall beautiful. You could use the paddle boat on the lake, but not suited for swimming. The highway sounds were annoying, but after some time you ignored it. The hot tub was cool, but not cleaned out, but the owner (Ryan) was very kind and responsive with our concerns. We luckily brought our ax, there wasn’t much wood chopped for the fire pit. We had to run to town to get a pitcher and colander for basic supplies. The price we paid, we found ourselves with more minor annoyances then expected. However, overall we had a great time and tried to use all the amenities that were available.
Another fun weekend in the books! We can’t say enough good things about this Vrbo. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards to enjoy the beautiful Lake Caribou, had bon fires, and relaxed in the hot tub. This was my second time there and it just gets better! Highly recommend this cabin for your next vacation! The owners are incredibly helpful and responsive! Also checked out Timberwolf Inn while we were there! Amazing food and drinks!
This place was perfect place to get away and relax. The lake is nice. The cabin is perfect for a family. The host did a wonderful job communicating. I would definitely come back to this place. Very quiet, peaceful place!
Very beautiful setting, felt like we were the only people there. Owners were helpful solving any problems and always were within a phone call or text away.
Lovely cabin with all the amenities for a peaceful 3 nights at the lake. We used kayaks and paddleboat daily to enjoy beautiful Lake Caribou. It was too chilly to swim, but we enjoyed the views from the lake top. The recent mosquito hatch made being outside a bit challenging. Despite this, with preparation and lots of spray we could sit outside and enjoy our meals. Kitchen and grill were well stocked. Well appointed living and sleeping spaces. Great stay!
My wife and I wanted a cabin getaway for a few days without the kids to relax. This cabin was perfect. The cabin is so nice, even better than the pictures. The location is just off the highway so it’s easy to get to, but still feels remote since there aren’t really any neighbors I could see. We actually had some spring weather finally and there was good sun on the patio even with all the trees.
My only complaint would be the bed in the master but bed comfort is so subjective I can’t really knock it. It seemed like a good mattress, just different than what I’m used to.
Property manager reached out in advance with check in info and everything was smooth and easy.
