Exceptional apartment completely renovated and redecorated in January 2019 ! You will have all the necessary comfort to enjoy a pleasant stay in Marseille
Exceptional location on the Old Port you will be able to walk alround from the apartment.

Flat on the 5th floor with lift, with lovely views over the city.
There is an air-conditioned lounge/dining room with a fully equipped kitchen separated by a glass roof.
There are 3 bedrooms with double beds, one of which has an en suite shower room, and a bathroom with bath.
The Lodge has a small balcony adjoining the kitchen.

A fully equipped kitchen with a small balcony is adjoining the living room.

You will have all the necessary comfort to spend a great stay in Marseille ! Restaurants coffee shops at the bottom of the building.

Good location, comfortable apartment

Overall we really enjoyed our stay in Marseille apartment. The apartment was large, bright and well appointed. Our only negatives were related to a noxious smell coming out of shower drain of one bathroom, making that room unusable. We did fix the smell by sealing the shower trap off with a plastic bag and wet towel. This eliminated the smell. Also elevator did not work the first night, forcing us tp carry two weeks worth of luggage up 5 floors. It was working the next day, so all was good. Communication concerning meeting representative was a little rocky, primarily due to connectivity issues with our phone. The location was good, with a nice view of harbor, Notre Dame, and forts at mouth of harbor. Tons of choices for restaurants close by and in the age of COVID, a pharmacy to perform our covid tests for travel was close by.

Une des chambres avec une salle d’eau est inutilisable compte tenu de l’odeur d’égout, je n’avais pas malheureusement pas lu avec attention le seul commentaire déposé qui le mentionnait. L’appartement est froid au sens propre car il n’y a pas de radiateurs dans chaque pièce. Les assiettes étaient sales, 6 couteaux dispos les et la tv avec 4 chaînes avec publicité ( je ne connaissais pas ce concept). Le sit cocoon qui gère l’ appartement ne sent pas concerné !

We enjoyed our stay at La Lodge on Rue de la Loge.

The apartment is well laid out, quite spacious and is very nicely situated to enjoy all that the Old Port and the Panier have to offer! We found it was clean upon arrival. It’s nod to the stylish art deco vibe is a lot of fun but could be warmed up a bit with a rug or two. The kitchen and bathrooms are modern and clean (although the fridge door is hinged on the wrong side). Although the balcony is smaller than I expected, it was a cozy spot for two to have a glass of wine, or a coffee in the morning. The view from the blue and yellow bedrooms is very nice. There was easy access to the elevator, with an exit on the ground floor that takes you directly to the Old Port, and an exit on the third floor that takes you to the Panier district. Overall, our experience with the apartment is positive with only a few issues. Although the apartment is pretty much as shown in the pictures, the Nespresso shown in the photo of the kitchen was missing, but there was a drip coffee maker so we were not left completely un caffeinated. The other thing was that we found we had to leave the windows in washrooms open while we were there as there was an odd smell coming from them (maybe the drains). If it weren’t for the drain smell, we would have rated the apartment a 5 out of 5. Rob G. Canada
