We had a wonderful weekend visiting our son. Glynese immediately answered any questions, was very accommodating, and the place was just what we had hoped for. A basket of snacks welcomed us and the hot tub was wonderful. Being in a basement, you can hear people above, but that was also clearly mentioned in the description and wasn’t anything outrageous. Overall had a great stay and would def recommend!

This basement apartment was truly a retreat. Our hosts were very accommodating, the bathroom was like you had stepped into a spa, and the main bedroom was very comfortable. It was in a quiet neighborhood, the only challenge was getting luggage to the apartment, it was a cute rock landscape path but not ideal for anyone with larger suitcases(not able to use wheels.) Traveling with family it was very nice to grill in the nice backyard, sit in the hot tub and look at the mountains, very close to all shopping and attractions. Would definitely stay again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Northgate and would highly recommend it! We found the property easily after stopping at the grocery store just five minutes away. Access was easy and everything was as described. The place was so clean and the bathroom was beautifully fancy. We loved the heated floors and amazing shower, not to mention the heated toilet seat! It was all so luxurious. We picked out a DVD (of the many available!) to watch in the theater room with some of the popcorn provided in the snack basket. The rental was very spacious and everything thought of. We also used the jacuzzi one night which was nice after a long day. Highly recommend this stay!

Great place very close to USAFA

We had a wonderful visit in Colorado Springs staying here. This met all of our needs and we appreciated all the small attention to detail items. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend especially for those needing to be close to USAFA.

The house itself was absolutely beautiful, incredibly well stocked, and had everything we could have needed. Unfortunately, three major issues made us unable to recommend it.The biggest concern was the hot tub. While using it, the water suddenly turned cloudy/milky white with a strong chemical smell. Shortly afterward, two of us developed severe coughing, shortness of breath, and tight airways that lasted through the night. The host said they checked the chemicals and everything was “fine,” but we were never given the actual pH or chemical readings. After they turned the hot tub back on, the same cloudiness and chemical smell immediately returned, so we did not feel it was safe to use again.We also felt uncomfortable with our privacy. Several times we received messages that seemed related to things we had just been discussing. Most notably, after telling our puppy “shh,” the host upstairs texted us, “Don’t worry about shushing the baby. He’s fine. We are fine.” It made us feel overheard.Finally, the amphitheater/speaker system was not working when we arrived, yet after checkout we were attempted to be charged hundreds of dollars for it "not working".If it weren’t for these three issues, we genuinely would stay here again. Unfortunately, they were significant enough that we would not recommend the property.

Our stay was everything we could've asked for in a home away from home! It was in a quiet, very welcoming neighborhood. All of our questions that we had were answered in a very timely manner and the hosts made us feel so welcome! We plan to keep this place in mind for future stays!

Excellent location perfect for families summer vacations. Close to AFA and all what one needs. Very nice place with great deal of comfort. Media room is awesome. Owners are very, very helpful and open.
