VATICAN - SAN PIETRO area apartment
Delightful completely renovated apartment, adjacent to via Piccolomini at the height of the terrace which offers the most beautiful view of Rome over San Pietro, in a residential area a few bus stops from the basilica of San Pietro, without parking problems.
The owners Andrea and Michela who love Rome and find refuge as soon as they have the opportunity, want to share their home with guests who can therefore find all the comforts and atmosphere of a living and inhabited home.
On the ground floor, a large living area with sofa bed overlooks the property garden, with large windows and a play of lights that in the evening help to create continuity between the outdoor and indoor spaces.
A small dining area and a modern kitchenette complete with dishwasher.
The master bedroom, overlooks the back of the garden, which enjoys a few hours of sunshine in the morning and then is in the shade, helping to maintain a pleasant temperature. The selected linen is refined.
The outdoor area is very large and very pleasant for a breakfast in the garden, well protected and sheltered from glances and noise.
We only ask that guests enjoy our home and all that it offers, but with respect.

Excellent accommodation

Enjoyed our stay. Clean, comfortable and convenient. Nothing fancy but it has everything you need for your stay. Andrea is very helpful and readily available if needed.

Nice apartment in a quite area of Rome

Overall, we felt quite comfortable in the apartment. There are a few small things that could be improved. Cleanliness was an issue for us; we lacked a kettle or a small capsule machine for coffee. As non-Italians, the available espresso pots were unsuitable for us. The toilet seat is smaller than the seat and wobbled. The sofa bed is cannot be recommended, it is almost impossible to sleep on it. Overall, the apartment is nice, what I liked most was the large sun terrace and the quiet, yet close to the city location with very good connections to public buses.

Excellent experience

Our host Andrea was extremely communicative and hospitable. The apartment was clean and stocked with necessary items (i.e. paper towels, towels, toilet paper). Very close to Vatican and not too far of a walk to Trastevere! Overall wonderful experience.

Beautiful place with one flaw

Andrea was super nice and greatly responsive. Everything was really good, clean, spacious, 2 bus lines close (one 30 yards away) and in 30 minutes you are everywhere. What nobody tells you: from the end of the street outside the house you can see the dome of St Pete's cathedral which is amazing at night. Could you be closer to everything? Yes. Would it be as nice and spacious? Probably not. The only thing I need to are is that there is one window in the bedroom that fits not have blind and the light from a street lantern shines right through it. The curtains in the bedroom do not keep the light out so it's not really dark. Everything else was great. I would go back immediately! Thank you Andrea, thank you Michaela!!

Great Location.

Our Family stayed 10 days at Andrea’s place. The location was amazing for access to all the major site seeing locations throughout Rome. The flats in great shape and sleeps 4 comfortably. Big back patio/yard area with washing machine was nice with the long stay. Great price for a treat place.

Very nice place

Quiet, clean and comfortable appartment in a strategic point of Rome, if you have a car it is the best place without any parking problems and connected with the right roads to get to the centre and tourist places. Easy check-in and check-out, Host always kind and helpful.

Very nice apartment

It was a very pleasent experience to be in this apartment. It is exactly as in the pictures. Although, for those who will be there during the raining seasons, during the night the rain can be annoyinh as the impact of the rain on the windows is very loud. Also it would be nice to have a microwave. Thank you.

Amazing Place for Rome

My sister and I travelled to Rome and this was our first stay. We absolutely loved it, was very clean and spacious. Communicating with the owner was very easy and she was very responsive. Would recommend!

Excellent stay in Rome

The apartment is in excellent condition and is located in a safe and quiet neighborhood. There is a nice fruit and meat market and a beauty shop within a short walking distance, all conveniently located in the same building. The host, Andrea, is excellent and always responded immediately to any question we had of him. He could not have been more helpful, whether calling a taxi for us on various occasions or explaining how certain appliances work. We stayed for a month and I would recommend staying at this site without hesitation. R Marchionni

Short Family Trip to Rome

The apartment is located really nice. The beautiful parc is near by and you are able to walk into the city center. The area around is nice, quite and a safe place to stay. We traveled with 2 little children and we loved the terrace and garden to be outside. The apartment was clean and we had everything we needed for a nice stay in Rome. Thanks Andrea for having us. Quiet flat in noisy Rom.

Modern, clean and quiet flat with everything you need. Vatican is in walking distance or you take the bus close to the flat. The bus also brings you to all the other important sights. After a noisy day in Rom you can relax in the garden. The hosts are friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful apartment and great location!

The apartment was very clean and in a great location. It was very close to the bus station and the bus system was easy to use. Andrea was great to work with. I would definitely stay there again if we ever visit Rome again! Great place!

Rome Apartment

This apartment was clean , comfortable , and in a quiet residential neighborhood. We always enjoyed coming home to the peacefulness after the crowds of Rome . Because it is in a calm residential neighborhood , you will have to travel a bit farther to get to Rome's attractions . We had no problem walking to the Vatican , Travestere , Botanical Garden , Piazza Navona, etc I would recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Rome .

Great Rental

We enjoyed our stay at this rental. We were a 25 minute walk from Vatican City. We were very comfortable staying and was happy to have a washing machine on site. The back patio with the lovely plants was nice to have as well. Andrea was very helpful with all our questions. We recommend this apartment!

We really enjoyed our stay

The apartment was exactly as shown in the listing. The apartment is modern, has a great kitchen with lots of pots and pans, cutlery and a good sized frig. Good location in good neighbourhood - 20+ minutes to Vatican, an eazy walk (or bus) to San Pietro train station to Trastevere or to Termini if using Express Train to the Airport. The host always responded very fast and helpfull and was flexible when we checked in. If/when we return to Rome we would rent again.

Andrea was very responsive and accommodating. The apartment was beautiful and very comfortable. My husband and teen daughter and I had a lovely stay! Bus 982 stops just up the street and gets you to just about anywhere. But was also fun to walk too! Would stay again someday!

Great place with lots of space

We arrived in Rome at the end of a 2week vacation and the home was a wonderful way to close out a spectacular vacation. The view from the end of the drive is amazing! The home is clean and very comfortable. Anything we needed was right there, it is in a very quiet neighborhood even right in the city. We had no trouble getting to and from things, though it was further than it looked on the maps.

Fantastic stay and great place at Rome

Anrea it was a beautiful stay at Rome in your great apartment! The locatation was perfect. Very quiet and near by the center off Rome. The apartment was very clean and a lot off space even for two adults and two teenagers. The only tip we can give is a better mattress in the sofa couch. When we visit Rome again we will defently come to your apartment. Thanks for our stay.

Clean and spacious!

The apartment is quite large and offers a huge terrace. It is extremely clean. The location is about a 20-25 minute walk to the Vatican; from there we used the Hop On/Hop Off bus tour to get to the further sites. The location is a little further from other sites but it’s nice because it’s not located in the heart of the tourist area so it’s very quiet.Overall I would recommend staying here; we quite enjoyed our visit.
