The cabin was so beautiful and very neat and tidy. We felt comfortable and relaxed staying at the cabin! It had a beautiful view and a calm nature vibe To it! Totally would love to go back!

We loved our stay at the Raven Cabin! It was such a peaceful place to enjoy our breakfast and pack up lunches before we headed out to hike and explore. Then it was so relaxing to return to after a long day to rest and recharge. The cabin had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Nancy was an amazing host. She was very responsive and let us know things we needed to know and checked to make sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again if we came back to Golden!

What an Amazing slice of heaven, we loved waking up to hear the birds singing. The place is clean and very well maintained. We enjoyed the cabin interior temperature being on the cool side, not sure if it’s by design but sure was nice on the hot days! Also only 10 mins for Golden so it’s super convenient to grab groceries and relax after a day of adventure. There is no cellular signal for Bell and I would assume other providers but the WIFi is good and was a great source of communication. I highly recommend this cabin for a simple relaxing retreat!

Super nice and well located

Modern, simple and comfortable small house, with another house on property. Located about 10 km (6 mi) from Golden, great location for enjoying Canadian Rocky Mtns.

Perfect Mountain Retreat

This cabin is the ideal mountain get away. A cozy, ski cabin in the quiet of the woods. Close to Golden (5mins), close to Kicking Horse Resort (20mins). A perfect place to get away from it all.

Good Basecamp

We stayed for 6 nights to visit the 5 NP's in the area. Was a great location for this. Nancy was amazing to work with related to any questions or issues we had.

Nestled in the woods

It is a perfect modern cabin. It was exactly what we were looking for in a quiet getaway in the mountains. The owners are super friendly and have thought of everything you will need. We were comfy and cozy our whole stay. Thank you for a memorable holiday!

Perfect mountain escape

Absolutely loved this rental! Spent 8 nights here for a family vacation. Perfect spot if you are looking for proximity to mountain attractions and peace and quiet! Place looked brand new, good kitchen, lots of hot water, spacious lot with outdoor dining and fire pit. Nancy, the owner, is super nice and extremely accommodating. We will be back. Super cute!

Lovely spot

We enjoyed our stay, in spite of poor wifi. The house itself is lovely, comfortable and nice and quiet. Nancy is really great: super responsive and helpful. Really seems to care about the quality of the experience. The one downside was the wifi, which was weak at best and on some days non-existent. We messaged with Nancy about it and she said it's a problem when windy or smokey from forest fires. I guess I'd just say be prepared for the possibility of limited wifi. For us, it made it difficult to book reservations, check weather, and get driving directions. It did get better over the course of our stay, so it really did seem to be dependent upon weather and other conditions. Perhaps adding a modem to the actual cabin (rather than in the neighboring cabin) might help? In any case, it was for sure the only downside of a lovely and comfortable stay.

Thank you for your understanding! We have a Starlink system on order, speeds of up to 97.4 Mbps. This doesn't help you at all, but will allow work stays to enjoy the fastest internet speeds in Canada. Starlink promises that our new system will be here by mid September.

Great base camp from which we were able to access and hike in all 6 nearby National Parks. It’s clean and was equipped with all kitchenware needed to prepare a quick meal before or after a day of exploring. It’s modern, yet set back in the woods for a little rustic element. We couldn’t believe how quiet it was at night. We also had the opportunity to meet host Nancy and conversed with her a couple times during our stay. Nancy was always quick to respond and was an absolute delight. Highly recommend the Raven cabin!

It is so nice to stay at a place that is exactly as advertised. A very quiet cabin that is well appointed and you want for nothing. If you can't relax here you simply are not trying. Will return.

Nice mountain get away

Very nice cabin off the beaten track. The host Nancy was very responsive to our needs. The cabin has everything you need and when the coffee maker didn’t work she brought us a new one that very day! The cabin also had a number of indoor and outdoor games to suit everyone. The cabin has access to a number of the National Parks in the area with great paddling and hiking if you were willing to drive an hour or so.

Spectacular Secluded Getaway

We had a super amazing and relaxing time at this secluded getaway. The place was excellent, clean and warm. We loved the place and could have stayed longer. Anyone looking for wonderful property managers, a magical place to stay, this is a one of a kind.

Golden Base Camp

What an amazing vacation we had at this gorgeous house. It was peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed cooking on the BBQ, fire pit with lots of wood, the open concept of the house. Everything was made for us to have memorable vacation. Location was a bonus. Close to Golden and to so many lacs around for fishing and kayaking. The host, Nancy and Brian, are really nice people. They put so much love and effort in the propriety, a must to visit. You won't regret it.
