“The Cottage” is a small two story fully operational rustic house that was converted from a plantation outbuilding to a residence to accommodate the owners while Glen Mary, the “big” house, was being restored. “The Cottage” is to the rear of the “big” house within Glen Mary’s lovely gardens. The upstairs includes an eat-in kitchen and sitting room, while the bathroom and bedroom are located downstairs. The cottage comfortably sleeps three and includes a queen bed and a queen-size sleep sofa.

This is a fascinating antebellum property with reasonable access to neighboring communities. The owner could not have been more accommodating. The owner has a vast knowledge of antebellum construction and design.
