Nearly ruined vacation for 30 people

The owner refused to respond to ck un and vrbo could not reach him either...and so the 3 grandparents were stranded. Thankfully working witb a local rental company we found a spot..much smaller but what can you do. Refunding the fees doesnt cover the drama that happened...they had to stay at a hotel eat out...when they had packed their evening meal...terrible experience

Cherie - we completely understand your frustration as it was mimicked on our end as well. We were unable to reach you for weeks prior to your arrival. No messages would go through and you didn’t have a phone number or email attached to your account. We were working with VRBO for several hours before your arrival to get in contact with you and then the reservation was cancelled from the guests end. We were left with a blocked off calendar and VRBO provided a full refund. From an owners perspective this is about as bad as it gets. We were in fear this was a fraudulent reservation. So even though the one star review was given, we will continue to provide an amazing property to all of our guests. We also truly apologize for this experience that I believe was caused by a software issue with VRBO. I highly recommend all guests that book through VRBO to ensure there is communication established early in the booking process.

Great rental. Clean & comfortable with plenty of room for 8 people. The mattress in the master was very comfortable. The condo is well decorated & has plenty of supplies for the stay. Easy check in & the check out process was super easy!! Great communication with the owners & perfect location for all local activities. The pool and hot tub area outside the unit are really nice as well. Highly recommended :) Just make sure you put your parking lot pass in your car as SOON as you arrive & do not park in a spot that doesn’t belong to your unit.
