Le Balcon du Saint-Julien: a comfortable vacation home with breathtaking views (3 stars)

It is in the heart of the Baronnies that we will welcome you to our cottage. Located in an exceptional rural setting, less than 1 km from the centre of Buis-les-Baronnies and close to all amenities, you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the Rocher du Saint-Julien.

On the ground floor of a recently built house (2019), the cottage offers quality services and a neat decoration. The ground floor is occupied by the owner couple.

With a surface area of 65 m², it can accommodate 4 people and consists of a fitted kitchen opening onto a beautiful living room, two bedrooms (one with 1 bed 140 and the other with 1 bed 160 and 1 extra bed 80), a bathroom-WC. Each room benefits from large windows, equipped with brise-soleil. The terrace offers a magnificent view of the Saint-Julien. The cottage benefits from an independent entrance.

A dream place for a soothing interlude far from the daily hustle and bustle, it is also the ideal base camp for many activities mainly open to nature. Lovers of hiking and cycling, climbing, refreshing swims in the surrounding rivers or simply lazing around, you will be delighted by this prime location.

Booking information:
- during the months of June, July, August reservations are made from Saturday to Saturday
- 2 nights minimum for the rest of the year.


Towels and bed linen are included in the price.

Option proposed: Cleaning at the end of your stay (50€).

However, the routine maintenance of the apartment remains the responsibility of the tenant. At the end of the lease, the apartment must be returned in a normal state of maintenance: rubbish emptied, crockery and appliances (plancha, coffee maker, oven, microwave) cleaned, refrigerator emptied.

- Check-out before 10:30 am

- apartment that is difficult to access for people with reduced mobility (gravel access path and a step to access the accommodation);

Modern apartment conveniently located just outside Buis-les-Baronnies. Clean and airy! It stays wonderfully cool, is peaceful and the wow factor is the terrace which has wonderful views and is private and quiet. Inspite of the language barrier, Marie-Christine made us feel very welcome and we very much enjoyed our stay.

A very relaxing stay in a beautiful area

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely gîte. The apartment is modern, well-equipped and comfortably furnished, it has its own private entrance and outdoor area and is in a very peaceful location, yet still close to local amenities. The views are absolutely breathtaking and it felt so relaxing being there. Marie-Christine and Christian are very kind hosts and it was nice to know they are nearby. We enjoyed the area very much, Buis-les-Baronnies is a charming little town, the via ferratas were great and we visited other places nearby, such as Vaison-la-Romaine, which was amazing.

Séjour très agréable, au calme. Le logement est équipé de tout le nécessaire pour passer un bon séjour. Même si il faisait très chaud à l'extérieur, l'intérieur du logement était agréablement frais. Nous avons eu un très bon contact avec Marie-Christine. A recommander.

Très bon établissement. Vue splendide et commerce très proches (3 minutes en voiture. Endroit calme. Nous avons vu des chevreuils passer dans les bois toit proches. Petite amélioration: Lumière extérieure de nuit pour le parking serait utile, ainsi qu'un wc extérieur à la salle de bains surtout si vous venez à 4 adultes.... Sinon tout était parfait

Nous avons passé un séjour d'une semaine en famille. Nos hôtes Marie-Christine et Christian nous ont parfaitement accueilli et ont été très agréables avec nous et de bon conseil pour profiter des alentours. Le logement était très commode et bien équipé et indépendant de celui de nos hôtes. L'environnement est très paisible avec une belle vue sur le mont Saint Julien comme sur l'annonce. Les paysages de la régions sont magnifiques et les activités à faire aux alentours ne manquent pas, aussi bien côté nature (rando, escalade, rivières) que sur le côté alimentaire avec les nombreux domaines viticoles et oléicoles. Le village de Buis Les Baronnies (centre et commerce à environ 1 km du logement) est très typique. Je recommande pleinement.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, le gîte est spacieux, confortable et bien équipé, la terrasse avec la vue magnifique sur le St Julien est tranquille et très agréable. Un séjour très agréable

Nous sommes venus avec mes deux fils faire de l’escalade. Le logement est spacieux et bien équipé. La terrasse est très agréable. La vue sur le Saint Julien est très jolie. L’endroit est calme et proche de nombreux sites d’escalades et de randonnées.

Beeindruckende Aussicht in ruhiger Umgebung

Wir haben 10 sehr erholsame Tage in der Ferienwohnung verbracht. Es ist alles vorhanden, was benötigt wird und in sehr gutem Zustand. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön, sehr grün und man kann vom Standort der Wohnung zu vielen schönen Ausflügen starten. Wir waren viel Wandern und Radfahrern. Die kleinen Dörfer im Umkreis sind niedlich und ein Besuch lohnt sich. Der Supermarkt im Ort hat auch sonntags geöffnet. Die Vermieterin und der Vermieter sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie wohnen über der Wohnung, sind aber eher unauffällig. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
