Pretty rough, but was ok for our needs
This place could use some significant maintenance, but was fine for us; I can see why some people were less than thrilled with the facility. We took a gamble, and it was ok.
Some things that stick in my memory:
Of the two smoke detectors, the upstairs unit was missing from its mounting bracket and the downstairs unit had no batteries. The kitchen floor needed a good wash. There was only a single fork in the kitchen. One kitchen drawer was significantly broken. One of the burners on the stove was missing its support frame, making it unusable. The front porch was covered in dirt and mud. The place really needs some more lamps all around plus some more basic bedroom furniture. The walls could use some spackle and fresh paint. Fortunately with just two of us, we could consolidate furniture and lamps into one bedroom while we were there.
I don’t think we will be returning, but with a little effort on the owner’s part, this could be a lovely place.
