About the host
Hosted by Jason Webb
As the name suggests, Casa Jasana is Jason and Ana’s home away from home. Ana is Spanish and I’m English. We purchased the villa in 2015 and refurbished it for modern living. I cannot take credit (although I try lol) for any of the design/decor - that’s all down to Ana. When we purchased the place it was stuck in the 1950s and was very dark and old-fashioned. I wasn’t that enamored but Ana could see the potential and as she rightly pointed out, you can change what a house looks like but you can’t change the views, you either have them or you don’t - and she wasn’t wrong - the views are stunning!
We got married at the villa in 2016 and therefore this place will always have a special place in our hearts (not to mention the purse strings when not needing to find an over-priced venue),
If you look up when you step into the naya you will see a very established swallows’ nest - we weren’t sure what it was when we first bought the place but very quickly established our place was well known by many for the swallows that have been coming to nest here for decades. It’s amazing sitting on the ratran furniture in May/June and watching mum/dad flying in to feed the starving growing crew inside the nest. Such a lovely bit of nature.
Ana also loves to head off to the local PADI school to go diving - Javea has some wonderful dive sights for those interested in scuba diving.
Whilst she is off diving I regularly head off to various paddle courts to enjoy a few paddle tennis games. We also have tennis courts and a 9-hole golf course on our doorstep not to mention the internationally renound 18-hole golf course in La Sella only a 20 mins drive away.
During the summer months there are the chiringuitos on the stoney beach front (between the Arenal and the port) with slightly cheaper drinks than on the Arenal promenade.
For the avid cyclist there are some great (and challenging) bike rides. Ana likes to ride downhill to the chiringuitos and then makes me ride back up the hill - hmmm

Why they chose this property
We first visited Javea as Ana has family here. At first we were not sure what all the fuss was about but there is just something about Javea that draws you in and keeps you coming back. It has a great micro climate so the temperature is always superb (well apart from the red rain that loves to fall just when you have jet-washed everything!!)
We just love the tranquility of the place but if you want to be a bit more upbeat there are always the bars and restaurants along the promenade.
What we especially like is that whilst we are only 30 mins drive from Benidorm, we do not have the high rises, stag/hen dos or noisy nightlife. Javea is definitely fit for families with children who just want to relax and enjoy the surroundings. But of course Benidorm is just 30 mins away for those youngsters wanting the nightclubs!

What makes this property unique
We pride ourselves on always striving for the guest to fully enjoy their stay without the hassle of having to pay extra for things like air conditioning, linens for all rooms (you will often find when you rent a villa you will only have the requisite number of beds made up for the number of guests booking - not us, we figured you have booked the villa not a room therefore you have free access to all of our rooms whether there are 6 of you coming or only 2), and we do not ask any extra for the clean at the end of your stay which most places do charge extra for. So what you see advertised is EXACTLY what you get,
