My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much. There was plenty to do around the property and we were a quick car ride away to various breweries, wineries, bakeries and beaches. The grill was in perfect condition and the kayaks were a blast!
Clean, well-maintained property with a friendly and helpful on-site host. Beautiful views of the lake from the deck and front sitting room. Easy check-in and check-out. Definitely a spot to return to.
My husband, toddler and I stayed here for 5 nights. The cottage was clean, the view was beautiful and the hosts were highly responsive. The state park being a beautiful mile walk away with a swingset/small beach area was definitely an added bonus.
The house is really nice. Great full kitchen and nice bathroom. The view is great of the lake. Be aware most things close early around there and nothing is close (food, etc), so get groceries or plan ahead. Great place overall.

Thank you for leaving a review and I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. I do want to point out that there is a small well stocked market just 2 miles from us and we opened up 2 months earlier this year for the eclipse. So everything in the area was not open during your stay, since it was during the off-season and the stores do stay open later during the season.
We (husband and 2 adult children) had a lovely 4 day stay in this cottage. The cottage is clean, bright and well appointed with anything you might need. We enjoyed the peaceful setting, and spent much time hanging out on the deck overlooking the lake. We also took advantage of the easily accessible kayaks. Returned today to the “real world” feeling rested and rejuvenated!
We enjoyed our time at #11 Isle View Lake Cottages. The place is clean, comfortable, and it was remodeled recently. We found everything needed to cook in the kitchen. The property manager/owner was accommodating and resourceful. He was available 24/7 since he lives within the property.
The property overlooks the west side of Lake Champlain, and the sunsets are spectacular.
We visited Montreal for the day, which is only one hour and fifteen minutes away. Riding our bikes on The Island Line Trail and taking the Bike Ferry was a treat. The vistas from the causeway were indescribable—a must-do experience.
Had a great time staying at the cottage - amazing sunset views. We took bikes around for a tour. The cottage is next to a few other cottages at one point my wife walked up to the wrong one and sat on the deck b/c they are so similar looking. Over all the place is great AC and laundry a big plus. Grill is a bit of a hike and is shared, access to water was probably the biggest disappointment - we were hoping to get into the water more from the property, but that wasn't really an easy option. Could have been related to recent large amounts of rain.

Dave and Lucy live in Burlington, Vermont, where Dave grew up, and where both graduated from UVM. They have two grown children who live out of state, but enjoy visiting and staying in our cottages with friends.
Why they chose this property
We wanted a cottage with lake frontage. We saw the cottage, recognized its potential to become a lovely and inviting home, and turned it into one! We love the addition of the sunroom on the front of the cottage, and the open feeling we were able to create in the cottage because of it.
What makes this property unique
Dave and Lucy love the openness of the land in Alburgh. It allows you to fully appreciate what the sky has to offer: amazing cloud formations; storms approaching over the lake; breath-taking sunrises and sunsets, moonrises and moonsets; full rainbows and double rainbows; birds such as osprey, gulls, and an occasional bald eagle. We love it all, and it is constantly changing and surprising us!
