This town home was perfect for us. It was very clean and in a nice quiet area. It’s also close to the beach, fishing holes and trails. A short drive to the restaurants and local bars. We really enjoyed our stay.
The property is within a mile of Scarborough Beach. We parked at the trailhead and walked to the beach every day (saves on parking charges at the beach itself). This was exactly as advertized and worked well for us
Very comfortable and clean unit. Nice neighborhood. Walking distance to path that led to beach which is about 10min walk. If you have young children you might need a wagon. Made wonderful memories.
Nice condo. Great communication with rental property for a few issues noted on moving in and addressed quickly
Easy to deal with.
Would rent from again
It was a very pleasant stay. The house offered everything you need to stay close to a beach. It was very cozy. Scarborough beach is also nice and clean. Restaurants and other grocery stores are not that far. Only thing is it was feeling very damp in the bedroom, not sure why.
Lee was very kind and responsive, she was ok to have us check out one hour late.
We loved the simplicity of Narragansett. Town house was perfect for family of four. We made breakfast there each day, lots of supplies for that. Close to beach, beautiful trail and shops / restaurants at Narragansett. Great communication with property owner and he was available for even silly door locking issue we had but figured out. You can’t really hear the attached neighbors, which we appreciated! We really enjoyed our time away and plenty of room for four of us to enjoy our space.
Just a quick overnight visit to be close to my childhood home in Narragansett :) My 2 teenage girls were also very excited to each have their own bedroom for our last night of vacation.
The house was a quick walk to the beach. My only slight let down was the actual address location being different original location when I searched. I thought it was at the entryway to my old neighborhood. It was still close, however 2 streets over. But the house itself was great!

The property clearly had an issue with moisture. It smelled like mold and mildew. We ran the AC and the dehumidifier. It wasn't good. One of the beds was not in good condition and it felt like a spring would poke you. The entire property is dated and not in great overall condition. We would not stay there again. We actually left a night early.

Decent Beach House
There were some great pros - location couldn’t be beat (less than one mile from Scarborough beach (easy walk), close to all our favorite Narragansett/Wakefield eats and sites); awesome outdoor shower!; the owner let us have a late check out which helped out having a two year old. I don’t like to complain, when I had a great vacation overall, but for the sake of other renters’ info: the main con we found was that the king size bed’s box spring was broken, which wasnt disclosed to us at any point ahead of time so we slept on it the first night. The two other beds were small (full) for my wife and I to share, so we probably would not have booked/or would have asked for a fix/accommodation earlier, had we known about the busted box spring ahead of time. Idk, even a heads up apology ahead of time about that issue would have sat better with me. The owner did have it fixed (though not at our request, and upon their own initiative) in time for last night we slept here, but sharing a smaller full bed was not ideal. Also it was humid in the basement, but I understand that is typical of the type of house and there was a dehumidifier so it wasn’t a huge problem. I must give credit where due and say that the owners were super* responsive when there were issues and we can’t complain about that. We were pretty comfortable all things considered. Thank you for having us
The property is as described in the listing. It was clean and check in was easy. Property manager reached out to us before our stay because of a hurricane hitting directly the town of Narragansett and arrangements were made for all of us to be safe. Great place to stay and very close to Scarborough state beach.
The check in process was supposed to be emailed to me 2 days before our arrival and I never received anything. I ended up having to call the owner about 2 hours before our arrival to see what we are supposed to do. The backyard was extremely overgrown and the trees needed to be trimmed as well as it made it difficult to be outside. As soon as I opened the door to the house it had a very musty smell to it as of it had been closed up for a while. Then to make it worse there was an infestation of black carpenter ants. We turned the kitchen light on and there were hundreds of black carpenter ants with a nest right in the light fixture. We could actually see the ants and the eggs moving around in the light fixture. The woman who was I charge of looking after the property, Lee, was very pleasant to deal with. She offered an exterminator to come the next evening to which we agreed. About 2 hours after that we were sitting eating dinner at the dining area and started to hear very loud scratching in the walls right next to us. Needless to say that was the last straw. It was bad enough that we had black carpenter ants crawling all over the house and ourselves (my 3 children included) but to hear something very large scratching thru the walls while we were trying to eat dinner was just as gross. We ended up having to pack up all of our stuff and check into a hotel for the night so we could feel comfortable. We were offered a refund or they would pay for our hotel and we did choose to get a refund.
Great location--very quiet street, private backyard, and a 10-minute walk to the beach. The bathroom needs updating, but the unit is clean, and the outdoor shower is amazing. We enjoyed mornings on the deck & afternoons by the water.
We loved sitting on the deck, enjoying the quiet neighborhood and seeing the stars at night. We could easily walk to North Scarborough Beach or take a shorter stroll down Black Point trail.
