Quiet Getaway cozy cabin directly on Lake Martin

Located on almost flat private lot with fenced in yard. All kitchen amenities. Near Wind Creek State Park (2 miles by water), 50 minutes from Montgomery 1 hour from Birmingham 45 minutes from Auburn,50 minutes from Talladega race track and 8 minutes from Alexander City. Super Walmart 8.5 miles. Boat ramp ( 1 block ),several great restaurants within about seven minutes.Why rent a condo when you can have your own private floating swim pier with beautiful clear deep water( great fishing or any water activities)you can see sunrise across lake or sit on the large screened in porch over looking the lake,while drinking coffee or while tending to the onsite grill. Looking for quiet,peaceful getaway vacation this is it. no smoking no pets inside.

The view is amazing. The home and property are very dated and in need of repairs but you can see most of that on the listing. We stayed 8 days and had limited towels and bath clothes. I contacted the owner, who answered promptly, came over and gave a few more towels but no bath clothes. So, 3 people staying 8 days had 6 bath clothes. There is a washer and dryer but I did not particularly want to wash every 2 days! So, since I live close, I went home and got bath clothes. We had a wonderful time and the fishing and swimming was great. It is in a great location to boat and kayak. Just do not expect much from the house or the amenities.

The property was just as described. We truly enjoyed our stay, especially the screened porch, where we spent every afternoon admiring the scenery...the spring-green trees reflected on the lake. Our host/owner was extremely nice and helpful; even the neighbor was very helpful. It was our first trip to Lake Martin, but not our last.

This is the cutest old-fashioned house on the lake, the best place to stay. We loved the place. The owner is super nice and such a sweet soul. The house was clean and very comfortable. We will be visiting again. Highly recommended to all.

The view was great! And so peaceful. The house did so much remind me of my grandma's house, but had all the amenities we needed, very well furnished! The king size bed was very comfortable. Our host was most special, a very nice accommodating host. Was very nice of him to come around and introduce himself and check on us.
