Located just over a kilometre away from Calheta, reputedly the sunniest and warmest area in Madeira, off the main road and surrounded either side by banana trees, it has the benefit of combining peace and tranquillity with easy access to facilities and to the expressway access.
Delightfully decorated, in a contemporary fashion with special personal touches imagined by it's owner, Grayci, the whole front is a superb solarium and heated infinity style swimming pool with sunbeds and outdoor eating facilities set on the edge of the cliff.
The house is divided into two living areas. The main part of the house has two bedrooms, and for larger groups there is the annex studio apartment which has its own entrance, a twin bedroom, shower room and kitchenette.

From the parking space, the main door leads straight into the open plan living space.
The 6 person dining area and fully equipped kitchen area overlook the lounge, solarium and pool. 5 steps down is the long sitting area with two sofas (one of which opens up as double sofa bed), a large flat-screen TV, telephone for local landline calls, free Wi-Fi signal, and opens via panoramic doors out to the solarium and pool.
A peaceful reading corner is next to the downstairs Master double bedroom with sea-views and en-suite shower room, which again opens onto the solarium.
The second bedroom has two single beds, a shower room, a fully equipped kitchenette and opens up onto the back patio.
An outdoor staircase accesses the self-contained studio area and third bedroom with twin beds, fully equipped kitchenette, shower-room and terrace with sea-views.
Because of the unusual and contemporary layout, Grayci's house is suitable for families and friends alike, especially if you are seeking a little extra privacy.
The whole frontage is a southern exposure solarium with sunbeds and outdoor furniture, an infinity pool of 7m X 4m, outdoor eating facilities and a built in barbecue, all offering that superb sea-view.

There are many walks around Calheta and easy access to the plateau of Paul da Serra, with its many levada walks, makes this villa perfectly located for walking in Madeira and for enjoying a lovely holiday surrounded by the beautiful Madeira countryside.

Pool heating is optional and costs 140€ per week for a 24ºC setting, payable locally on arrival in cash. For higher temperature settings, up to the permitted maximum of 26ºC, a 30€ per week per degree applies.
Pool heating should be requested in advance, at least one week prior to arrival. Should you request the pool to be heated at the last minute or when occupying the villa, the minimum charge is the one week price, paid from the time it is turned on.

Grayci's House is only a five minute drive away from the express way which provides access to the Madeiran countryside.
Less than 5 minutes by car (approximately 3 kilometres away) will take you to the resort town of Calheta, which, with its man-made golden beaches, is popular with tourists and locals alike.

Cleaning
The property is prepared for your arrival. For stays of longer than 7 nights, a change of linen and towels, and light mid-stay cleaning of bathrooms is provided on a day and time to be advised at check-in.
All linen and towels are provided, including towels for the swimming pool.
Guests need to vacate the villa during a mid-stay clean and change of linen.

Booking Notes
The rental value varies with the number of people occupying the property, so please ensure you enter the correct dates, number of adults, children and infants. Please note that supplements apply should additional people join you for any length of time.
To secure your reservation we require a 30% deposit, or the full amount if you are arriving within 8 weeks. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival.
A security deposit of 300€ is required by credit card prior to check-in.

Final details for check-in and driving instructions to the property will be sent 7 days prior to arrival. A contact number will be provided, and to be able to access the property, you need to phone this number as you are leaving the airport. It is your responsibility to contact and advise the number provided on the check-in details to advise any delays to the expected check-in time.
Check-in times - at the property - are between 16H00 and 19H00. For Sunday arrivals and out of hours check-in, alternative arrangements will be made and an additional cost will apply.
Check-in and check-out flexibility will be applied where possible, but this will depend on housekeeping schedules and the departure and arrival days of other reservations either side of your stay; a definitive answer can only be provided within 24 hours of your arrival for check-in and your departure for check-out.
