Charming cottage in a beautiful area about 15 min drive from Sarlat la caneda. Host couple is very kind and the pool is lovely. The cottage smells a little musty—as did many places we stayed in France—the furniture is a bit shabby and it is lacking air conditioning, so beware if it is really hot out that could be an issue. Overall, decent value and I would consider staying there again.

We had an extremely pleasant stay. The hosts are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The house was perfect for our needs and we particularly enjoyed using the pool. We can thoroughly reccomend this gîte.

Great as a base to explore the dordogne

Farid and his wife were lovely and very attentive, the description is spot on. The pool is lovely and a large garden and black berries to pick with the kids. If you are tall though you will struggle as the bed is short with a foot board so you feet can’t overhang. Due to the agricultural location if you have the windows open there are a lot of flies. The biggest and only real let down is that the next door neighbours have dogs that bark incessantly and when you drive past they escape and really go for the car. It is quite intimidating! Unfortunately this is obviously out of the hosts control and why I would only recommend it as a base to explore unless you are of course deaf!

Un excellent séjour

Le lieu est calme, donc après nos sorties-découvertes quotidiennes nous avons pu apprécier le repos sur les chaises longues du gîte, la piscine à bonne température, et les grillades au barbecue. La terrasse abritée est un plus certain que ce soit pour la chaleur ou la pluie. Les murs épais du gîte nous ont préservé une température agréable malgré la chaleur. Les propriétaires sont accueillants, la location est bien équipée avec un séjour spacieux.Des vacances sous le signe de la décompression

séjour de détente et de bonheur

Ce gîte était très agréable, très propre, calme au milieu de la campagne périgourdine. Très bien situé pour visiter tous les beaux villages médiévaux tels que BEYNAC, SARLAT, LA ROQUE GAGEA, les parcs de MARQUEYSSAC, et d'ERIGNAC, et tous les châteaux dont celui de Joséphine BAKER avec des jardins magnifiques. Très belle région à découvrir. Si nous avons l'intention d'y retourner, je n'hésiterai pas à relouer ce gîte et je vous le conseille. De plus, nous avons été très bien accueillis par des propriétaires charmants, et toujours à l'écoute de nos besoins.

Nous avons passé deux semaines très douces et paisibles, à la découverte du Périgord noir, avec nos deux petits garçons. Le gîte était parfait pour une famille de 4 , très bien équipé , avec un vrai petit jardin clos par une haie qui nous abrite des regards sans pour autant nous isoler des voisins et des hôtes. Piscine,chaises longues, barbecue, maison en pierre, grand pré avec balançoire,tout est parfait. Merci à Carmen et Farid pour tout,nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

Les propriéraires sont adorables et très à l'écoute. Le gîte est un petit coin de Paradis où on se sent très bien, tout est harmonieux. Le gîte est très bien situé, beaucoup de beaux villages, de châteaux et grottes à priximité. Le gîte est très bien équipé. On a bien profité des sorties et de la piscine. Bref des vacances idéales.
