About this property
TRYFAN COTTAGE, family friendly, with a garden in Caernarfon
Sleeping four people in two bedrooms, this inland semi-detached cottage is 3 miles from Rhostryfan, overlooking Caernarfon Bay.
Tryfan Cottage is a semi-detached cottage in an inland location, 3 miles from the village of Rhostryfan. There is a double and a twin room, each with sloping ceiling. On the ground floor is a family bathroom, along with a kitchen with dining area, and a sitting room. Outside is off road parking, and an open grass garden with views towards the coast. From Tryfan Cottage it is easy to explore the coast of North Wales, the mountains of Snowdonia and the lovely Isle of Anglesey.
Amenities: Heating from electric convector heaters throughout. Electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge, washer/dryer in rear porch, TV with Freeview, DVD, video, CD/radio. Electricity inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Please bring own beach towels. Cot, highchair, and stairgate by arrangement. Ample off-road parking. Lockable storage available for bikes, canoes, etc. Open grass garden with coastal views, furniture and BBQ. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 1 mile. Pub 2 miles. Note: Limited head height in parts of both bedrooms.
Region: Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
Town: Caernarfon is one of the most historical towns in the United Kingdom: there are few others who can claim to have been continually inhabited since Stone Age times. Evidence of its history is most evident in the famous Caernarfon Castle, which began its construction in 1283 as a fortress, a seat of government and a home for royalty. The town itself is the site of many events and festivals throughout the year, such as the UK Strong Man Competition, the Caernarfon Festival and meetings of the North Wales Automobile Club. The Welsh Highland Railway offers trips through the region, where you can begin to fully appreciate the splendour of the region and you can take a boat out on a fishing trip from the local harbour. The town itself is well-served by restaurants and shops and its close proximity to the local beaches offer the chance to get the best of coast and country.
