Region: Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain's premier holiday destinations.
Town: The fishing port of Looe is in two parts - East Looe and West Looe. East Looe with its quay area is connected to quieter West Looe by a 19th century bridge. East Looe offers narrow cobbled streets, twisting alleyways and plenty of tourist shops, whilst West Looe has a lovely outlook across the harbour. Bodmin Moor and the Tamar Valley are close by, as well as sandy beaches, National Trust properties, and further afield is Plymouth.
