My friends (7 of us) and I stayed for 3 nights. We found these accommodations to be perfect for our large group. Just as presented. Ease of communication with the host, comfortable bedrooms to sleep in, kitchen easy to use, so quiet at night too. Should we come back to Normandy, we would be happy to stay here again.

The online photos do not depict the current state of the property which is overgrown. There is obviously a work in progress on a small courtyard which should improve options to sit outside. The weather was cold and we asked to have the heating put on but were told that it was not the time of year to have the heating on, but two days later the manager came and turned it on recognising how cold it was. The heated tail rails were not until she came and turned them on too. The washing machine was fine but the drier was not working well. We were told that really we shouldn't be using it as it was not included in the household appliances but then the manager came to see if she could get it working. The wifi was quite flaky - some days good, other days not. All in all the property is perfectly placed for visiting the D Day beaches and Normandy towns, but the house itself, for us, was rather a let down.

Ein Haus zum Wohlfühlen

Wir waren für eine Woche mit vier Erwachsenen und zwei Kindern in dem Haus. Der Garten und die Terrasse sind wunderschön, die Blumen duften und überall fliegen Hummeln und Schmetterlinge. Im Haus hat man viel Platz, nur die beiden Badezimmer sind sehr klein. Im Dachgeschoss wurde anscheinend teilweise neu renoviert. Das hätte die Küche im Untergeschoss auch dringend nötig. Die Wände dort sind sehr heruntergekommen und auch die Küchenschränke sind teilweise sehr alt. Das Wohnzimmer und der Wintergarten sind gemütlich eingerichtet. Leider stand im Wintergarten und drumherum einiger Kram, der das Bild etwas gestört hat. Die Lage des Hauses ist toll, es sind nur wenige Meter bis zum Meer (aus dem Dachgeschoss kann man es auch sehen). Die Lage ist sehr ruhig. Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen und würden das Haus trotz der Schönheitsfehler auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Die Schlüsselübergabe war übrigens sehr unkompliziert und uns wurde auf Anfrage sogar ein früherer Check in ermöglicht.

Schönes großes Haus, sehr hellhörig

Das Haus ist sehr schön, sehr hellhörig. Ein Zimmer ist nur erreichbar, wenn man durch das andere geht. Sie sind nur durch einen Vorhang getrennt. Ein Zimmer im oberen Stockwerk hatte ein Wespennest, so konnte das einzige Fenster nicht geöffnet werden! Für Menschen mit Allergie auch sehr gefährlich. Leider waren das Besteck und die Gläser nicht richtig sauber. Überall waren Spinnweben. Trotz allem hat es sich gelohnt. Die Lage fast direkt am Strand ist super.

Een leuke plek dichtbij het strand, in het dorpje verder niet zoveel te vinden… In het huis een hele complete inboedel en erg veel ruimte. Heerlijke tuin en een leuke plek als uitvalsbasis om uitstapjes te maken. Een aanrader!

Grande maison très agréable.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis et la maison est très agréable. Les deux chambres du rdc avec ouverture sur le jardin sont parfaites pour des personnes âgées ou à mobilité réduite. Très agréable séjour.

Très belle demeure ancienne bien rénovée. Beaucoup d'espace dans la maison et le jardin. Nous avons pu profiter du terrain de pétanque ! Maison très bien située à 150m de la mer. Nous avons été très bien accueilli avec le souci de notre bien être.
