We enjoyed the stay. The downstairs bedroom could use a new mattress other than that everything was fine. It was after dark when we got there had a time finding the place. Thanks

Hello Tina,
Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at our "Mountain Ridge" cabin. We hope to host you again in the future!
My friend and I stayed at the property for one night and enjoyed the location, amenities and hot tub, however there was noticeable dirt and dead bugs in the bathroom...it looked like it had not been cleaned in some time. Other than that it was an enjoyable experience.

Hello Christina,
Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at our cabin.
This cabin is nice and check in was extremely easy. The owner reached out to see if anything was needed. I did reply and never heard back. But, this was mainly to acknowledge the hole on the backside of the futon. I did not want to be charged for any previous damages
Tried to communicate with the property manager to request a refund. There was what appeared to be blood stains on the "comforter" in the upstairs bedroom, the toilet wouldn't flush at all, the dishwasher looked like it was going to separate from the counter, there were dirty clothes left on the back porch from a previous renter, and the downstairs bedroom was so bad we were going to go buy new bedding just so we could lay down. We ended up leaving, not getting a refund and stayed in a nearby hotel that was a lot nicer and better priced. I don't recommend booking this property. All I was told by the manager was they would send the cleaner and I didn't receive any other response.

When we got there we realized we would be watched with a ring camera the entire time, which made the stay uncomfortable. The kitchen light didn’t work and the maintenance man came and took the entire ceiling fan down to try to fix it but never came back. The fridge wasn’t working so we had to fix it ourselves. The beds were SUPER HARD like almost impossible to get comefortable. The hot tub water was really cloudy. and the forks and stuff were so small they were like child like. We ended up coming in early cause we got the door code early which we didn’t ask for it was given but I had to pay extra for one more person. There was three of us total. The location was great as far as the trip itself during Rod Run but hated to spend to much money and not have expectations met and then had to pay more on top of that when we had to fix some stuff ourselves. Would of like a small refund or something in return but no not gonna happen.

The Ring camera is on the exterior to monitor intruders or unauthorized guests.
This particular guest was upset because they entered the property before it was ready and were caught on the camera. The instructions specifically mentions the check in time and the guest were there (3) hours prior when the cabin was not ready.
We have reached out the owner about our refund The cabin didn't have any electricity for days and we couldn't stay there with no heater ,no electricity while it was 19 degrees outside. Also there wasn't any way access to the cabin because the snow created black ice making it impossible to go up the steep mountains in order to make it to the cabin in the first place. Another problem was she said that the cabin was in Pigeon Forge and it was 20 minutes away from there. Place . They didn't perform what they advertise . Nobody's going to stay in a cabin without electricity and I didn't pay for a cabin with no electricity so I need my money back We couldn't use the cabin at all and we are asking for a full refund. We have reached out to the owner she is not going to return my money I would like to know if the team at vrbo could possibly contact the home owner and help me with the situation. Because I contact VRBO to do the transaction and I need an answer We couldn't enjoy the trip and we lost a lot of money paying hotels to wait it out.. The cabin was never touched and left exactly how the homeowner left it.Looking forward to receiving help from the people at vrbo, thanks
We enjoyed our time at the cabin! The management got back to us immediately with any questions. My only suggestion if you stay is to take extra towels. For the manager, the mattresses definitely need updated and add some chairs in living room if all 4 people would like to enjoy a movie. Thank you for the great stay! Would definitely rent it again!!!
The cabin was amazing!! Far enough away to enjoy the mountain setting, but close enough to hit the strip. The ONLY reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the mattress on the beds. It was like a futon mattress and every time I turned, I woke up to the metal bars pushing me. I suggest upgrading the mattresses.

Thank you for your feedback Ryan. Glad to hear you enjoyed the cabin and the location. We will look into the mattress.
We enjoyed a week-long stay in this cabin. It is a bit smaller than we anticipated (bathroom very small) and it really could have used more furniture (only a futon to sit on in the living room and no dresser in the bedroom) but overall it was a pleasant place. As another reviewer said, the hot tub was the icing on the cake.
On check in, the heat would not come on but the property owner was very proactive in getting this fixed. No other problems after that.

I booked this property for a quick end of summer getaway, and some much-needed decompression time, before heading back into the classroom to teach this year. The location was great, far enough but close enough to things we wanted to visit. The cabin was awesome too. The size was perfect for the two of us and was very charming.

Falsely advertised open community pool. Was kicked out before entering property for being upset.
Wanted to have getaway to deal with 1 yr anniversary of husband's death. Chose this cabin because advertised open community pool so my grandson would be entertained. Upon arrival noticed pool closed. Contacted property manager and was told I should have asked before arrival if pool was open. Offered a miniscule amount off my significant rental fee. After expressing my disagreement, was told I would be given a full refund but that the manager wanted me to get off the property immediately. I was left stranded with a 2 yr old, a car full of groceries and nowhere to go. I am still attempting to get my refund, which I'm told I may or may not get. Even though I am not the one who cancelled the reservation. I was forced to leave. Stranded by a rude and uncaring property manager.

Obviously you are posting as an anonymous guest so there is not much credibility here. But you were given various options to resolve but decided not to take any of the options offered (one of them being a full refund).
Good location about 15-20 min from Gatlinburg. Secluded. Quite. Power went out due to large storm and owner was quick to work with the power company to get the power back on as soon as possible. I only marked it down a bit because the floor was kind of dirty when we arrived. I have two small kids crawling around. It wasn’t really that big of a deal though. I just swept and mopped with disinfectant before moving in. Was going to do it anyway due to Covid. Would stay there again.

We loved the cabin. It was exactly as the photos show. The area it is in was quiet and peaceful. The jacuzzi on the porch was the icing on the cake. We had absolutely no issues at all. Thanks for a very memorable vacation Heather and for the Swans in the shape of a heart made out of towels sitting on the bed when we arrived. We definitely can’t wait to come back.

Cute And Clean
we had a great stay. Was sad when the hot tub wasnt ready and we had to let it heat up until the next night, and wasnt left extra toilet paper, but other than that. It was so cute, quite, and clean! About 20-25 min drive to Gatlinburg or Pigeion Forge, but wasnt bad! Great cabin for a quiet getaway!

Thank you for the review and were glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. The cabin being in the mountains, there are going to be insects especially if the doors are left open even though we have regular pest control. We will make an effort to improve your future stay.
