Delightful studio on the beach, private balcony, pool, hot tub & BBQ

Enjoy this darling 3rd floor condo at The Florence with your own private balcony right on the beach!
No hassle keeping up with keys with our keyless entry programmed with your personal code.
The new kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals. A 50” smart TV has Spectrum cable with Showtime & High speed WiFi. You will sleep well on quality cotton sheets and have plenty of nice towels and even beach towels to use during your stay. The condo will accommodate 4 guests, on the Queen size bed and a queen sofa sleeper. The private balcony with seating faces south with a view of the gulf.
It's a great value & right on the beach.
We are located toward the north part of the island between Clayton's and Wanna Wanna. Walking distance to many places but away from the noise and crowds.
The island has a free Metro bus that picks up right in front of the building and runs until 9:00 PM.
Pet friendly. Pet fee and Pet Agreement required.

Spring Break: Spring Break age requirement is 21, everyone staying must be at least 21 unless they are with their parents. No exceptions.
Security Dates: $25 ID Wristbands are required for each guest over the age of 10 during the following times: Spring Break Texas week, Easter weekend, Samana Santa, and Independence Day Holiday weekend. Please reach out for current security dates if you are booking around these dates. This cost pays for security that is hired during these times.

Property was as promised, so that’s good Always check on tar issue on beaches there as can be very limiting Also check if any repairs being done to building as being woken at 0800 by a jack hammer on outside wall outside our room was very alarming ! Plenty to do close to the condo

We stayed in that room before and never dissapointed.......both times room was awesome great entertainment with tv and cable as well as great view from balcony. Loved the easy access to the beach from the property ...and if you like to party, great bars are walking distance so you dont have to drive...would reccomend to anyone and will definitely stay there again without a doubt.

Awesome stay!

This condo was perfect, it has everything you need for a beach trip, super well stocked. Perfect location really easy beach access. We never saw the pool or hot tub crowded. The beach was also not super crowded which was nice. The owner was very communicative when there was some tar on the beach and left supplies to help (fortunately we did not encounter any while there) but I love that they were prepared. Very cozy and quiet condo. Would definitely recommend and stay again in the future.

Everything in the condo was as stated ! It was Close to the bus stop and to a few restaurants! The condo was quiet, you didn’t hear any outside noise. We would recommend staying there! If you need to contact the manager you will need to call them. They do not communicate through Vrbo messesages. Thank you for the stay!

Stay was nice at the condo. The bed was absolutely horrible. I have never slept on such a bad bed. The mattress was firm and so used. The bed frame was squeaky and wobbly. A keurig would have been nice for coffee. The location on the beach was nice. There was an umbrella but it was a patio umbrella not a beach one.

Perfect Vacation Spot

I loved this little apartment. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beach access couldn't be more convenient, and we had no issues. Because I never believe the all positive reviews - I didn't realize there was a regular coffee maker and a Keurig. Maybe I didn't read the listing close enough. The pool is not heated. This was a downside in February but probably a positive from March to October!

This is NOT beachfront. There is tiny balcony on the side of the building. which is mostly looking at the street and down the alley where dumpsters are kept. If you don't care about overlooking the ocean this place is for you.

Empty nesters beach fun with a dog

We had a great time! The beach just outside our door was great! Lots of dogs, space, great sun and waves. The hot tub and pool were really clean. And our place at only 400 square feet was super comfortable! The only thing that wasn’t perfect is that the water pressure in the building was a little low one Saturday evening when clearly everybody was all showering at once in the entire building to head out for dinner. But it wasn’t a big deal at all.

Upon arrival around 3pm, the whole building was without water of any kind until after 6pm. This included flushing toilet, bathroom, kitchen and outside water to wash off if you were returning from beach. The owner, Laura did respond when I questioned it right away. The Condo was in an excellent location, with an extremely short walk to beach. The view from balcony was more of a half-view, but still pretty. The kitchen was well equipped along with toiletries. Would recommend for a couple, but the room is not big enough for more than 2 people at a time.

What a wonderful condo on the beach! Exactly as described! We had everything we needed for our long anniversary weekend trip to SPI! The condo is very centrally located to all sorts of island activities. The beach access was extremely convenient! Really great walkable location! The condo was very clean and had everything we needed for a beach weekend. The only negative item I would say about the condo was the bed wasn’t very comfortable. Just a standard queen mattress with springs. It was a bit hard on the back. A topper may have made it a bit better. It could use an upgrade. It wouldn’t prohibit me from staying again, I’ll just bring a mattress topper next trip. Last but not least, and this is really on me but the host communication was via email and not in the VRBO app. I actually missed an email with a rental contract that needed signing because the email went to spam. Again no fault at all on the host but I felt it was important to make future renters aware to be mindful of it! The host did respond to my many panicked requests for check in information. Just remember to check your emails and spam folders! 10/10 would stay again!
