On a remarkable site of more than two hectares, bordering the coastline, and offering a magnificent view of the bay of Concarneau and its Ville-Close, the Domaine du Fort du Cabellou, offers 4 fully renovated accommodations.

The estate has a beautiful landscaped garden and a small forest which is part of a nature reserve. All residents have direct access to the beach from the garden. Still each terraced house has its own large terrace with a private garden.

The Domaine du Fort du Cabellou is an ideal place for holidaymakers looking for new horizons between sea and nature. The numerous hiking trails and the visit of Breton towns and villages will enhance your stay.

The caretakers live on site, providing a warm welcome and advice to make your stay unforgettable.

The house "Douceur du Midi" has:

Delightful setting in great Apartment

Jean-Baptist was very welcoming and helpful during our stay. The place is well equipped and has lovely furnishings. Two full bathrooms is convenient. It is a short drive into the heart of Concarneau and yet secluded in its park-like property with private beach.

Apartment on estate in elegant section of Concarneau.

This three-bedroom, two-full-bath apartment is handsomely designed and comfortable. Large-screen TV was easy to use and figure out, dining room table was large, chairs were comfortable, washer/dryer worked well. Kitchen is fully equipped and, with its easy access to the beach, well, our stay in this quiet and peaceful location couldn't have been nicer.

Wonderful

We spent two unforgettable weeks in this house. Everything you need to breathe in the beautiful ocean air, going out to the picturesque beach belonging to the house, was there. A calm and dignified atmosphere, a wonderful terrace, excellent kitchen appliances, good mattresses - complemented our wonderful feeling. We really want to come again.

Beautiful house on a gorgeous property in a wonderful, historic location.

The house was, if anything, better than advertised! From the property (not from the house) we could see across the bay to the town of Concarneau and it’s ancient walled ville close. We were 10 minute drive to Concarneau , 15 minutes to Pont Aven, and similarly short drives to Duarnenez , pointe du Raz,, Auray, with its ancient walled city and historic, adorable waterfront, Port Belon, with its 'Best of the best' oysters, Quimper, and many other beautiful places.. Jean-Baptiste, who lives next door, was gracious and helpful far beyond expectation. We are a brother and sister with our spouses in our 60s and 70s. We would absolutely stay here again (and probably will, if John Batiste will have us!)

Super accueil et explications claires. Jean-Baptiste nous a partagé pleine d'infos utiles sur les environs et les activités.La maison a été rénovée avec beaucoup de goût et de soin. On sent que rien n'a été laissé au hasard et on s'y sent bien dès l'entrée. La situation géographique est parfaite. On voit la mer des deux cotés de la maison. Le jardin est bien entretenu et l'accès au chemin côtier et aux criques vient parfaire le tout. A refaire sans hésiter !

Tolles Ferienhaus mit gehobener Ausstattung in schöner Lage! Buchung, Bezahlung und Kommunikation im Vorfeld verlief komplikationslos! Wer sich allerdings das Hausmeisterehepaar als nettes, hilfsbereites, deutschsprechendes, freundliches Paar vorstellt, liegt falsch. Die Hausübergabe; man ließ uns und andere Gäste trotz telefonischer Vorankündigung warten, die Kommunikation; ausschließlich in Englisch, wobei das Englisch seinerseits aber nur dadurch bestach die routinemäßige Einführungen im Schnelltempo herunter zu rasseln, auf gezielte Rückfragen wurde die Kommunikation holpriger. Besonders geärgert hat uns der Zustand der hochwertigen Kücheneinrichtung und des Grills. Damit konfrontiert, wollte man uns weismachen, dass ein Ceranfeld, welches als solches kaum zu erkennen war, sauber sei. Kühlschrank, Backofen, Arbeitsplatte und Geschirr bedurften auch einer Reinigung! Einen Urlaub mit einer Küchengrundreinigung beginnen zu müssen, entspricht nicht unseren Vorstellungen! Der Grill war für uns unbenutzbar, wurde aber auch nach 1 Woche abgeholt. Die übrigen Räumlichkeiten des Hauses waren dagegen super sauber, besonders die Bäder und die Betten!

Tolle Tage in Cabellou

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet. Es fehlt an nichts. Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll aufeinander abgestimmt. Es gibt eine sehr schöne Terrasse mit Weber "Genesis" Gasgrill und hochwertigen Gartenmöbeln. Großes gepflegtes Gelände mit seitlichem Zugang zu kleinem Strand außerhalb des Grundstücks. Verwalter war immer kurzfristig verfügbar und hat auch öfter mal nachgefragt ob alles in Ordnung sei. Es war einfach perfekt.

Sehr ansprechendes Anwesen, es blieb kein Wunsch offen. Vom Handtuch bis zum Besteck, auch das innenarchitektonische Konzept ist konsequent an hohen Maßstäben ausgerichtet. Gerne hätten wir etwas über die Historie der Liegenschaft erfahren. Besten Dank für den Enthusiasmus der Eigentümer.

Tolle Unterkunft - absolut außergewöhnlich

Die modern und sehr stilsicher gestalteten Apartments sind in einem parkähnlichen Grundstück mit Waldfläche und einem eigenem Zugang zu einer wunderschönen kleinen Strandbucht mit Blick auf Concarneau. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und auf der Terrasse steht ein Weber-Gasgrill. Für ein gutes Essen mit Wein (Weinladen La Cave du Cabellou in der Nähe – sehr freundlicher Besitzer) sind somit alle Voraussetzungen gegeben. Der Verwalter Jean-Baptiste und seine Frau wohnen auch auf dem Grundstück und sind direkt erreichbar. Die Kommunikation mit den Eigentümern war sehr angenehm. Insbesondere auch die Restauranttipps waren sehr wertvoll (z. B. La Coquille im gewerblichen Hafen von Concarneau – sehr guter aufmerksamer Service sowie sehr ansprechende und preislich angemessene Menüs). Herzlichen Dank Kiané für die Empfehlungen. Fazit: Die Unterkunft ist hervorragend bzw. absolut außergewöhnlich. Die Gegend bietet viele Möglichkeiten für Ausflüge (z. B. Plage de Tahiti/ Nevez, Bootsfahrt zu den Glénan-Inseln, Quimper – sehr gute Einzelhandelsstruktur mit schönen Boutiquen). Daher eine Top-Bewertung von uns.

Un si joli NOEL breton !!

Bien sûr il y a eu la pluie mais comment imaginer la BRETAGNE sans quelques bonnes averses .. Mais le cocooning du gîte a effacé la météo et l'emplacement en bord de mer était tout simplement magique , tout comme les embruns au FORT de CABELLOU lors de nos ballades Que dire du gîte , Un accueil parfait et l'aide du concierge fut précieuse ... Un gîte fonctionnel , propre , où l'on sent bien . Si l'on veut chipoter , il faut bien un peu , des draps housse seraient appréciables , pour le reste c'est le top !!! Nous étions BIEN !!Un NOEL 2022 dont on se souviendra entre émotion et rires

Superschönes Feriendomizil

Eine sehr schöne und großzügige Ferienwohnung in herrlicher Umgebung direkt am Atlantik! Es ist an alles gedacht, es fehlt an nichts. Ein wunderbarer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in das südliche Finistère. Vielen lieben Dank an Deborah für den freundlichen Empfang. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.
