Sandyland South is located in the Prominence South community of Watersound Beach, Florida. It is a professionally decorated three bedroom plus bunk room, three and one-half bathroom, fenced yard, two car garage home that comfortably sleeps eight. The floor-plan has two main bedrooms (one up and one down) plus a third queen bedroom and bunk room (containing two twins) on the second floor.

Prominence on 30A is a new community and one of the hottest new places to spend an exciting couple or family beach vacation. Sandyland South is conveniently located near the bustling "BIG CHILL" where you will find boutique shops, spa services, restaurants, bike rentals and nightly entertainment.

The home is well suited for families of all sizes with its large, open floor plan, fully equipped kitchen with GE appliances, spacious bedrooms with large closets, and a full size washer/dryer. You will never need to worry about running out of hot water as the home is equipped with a Rinnai tankless water heater.

Deer Lake State Park, directly in between Watersound beach and Watersound West beach, is the closest public beach access and it is .6 of a mile on 30A heading West from our home. It is an easy bike ride to get there, or if you drive, they have parking. There is a .2 mile walkover through the protected dunes from the parking lot to the beach. The park has picnic pavilion and restrooms. A small entrance fee of either $2/person or $3/car is collected on the honor system. Annual passes may also be purchased.

The closest Walton County facilities are the Gulf Lakes public beach access in Seacrest (about 1 mile away, has bike rack) and Santa Clara beach access in Seagrove (about 2 miles away, has parking and restrooms).

This property was excellent for our big kid family spring break! There are many activities nearby for all ages and this home was well stocked with all the necessities for our week long stay. The house is gorgeous and very well laid out for our stay. All the rooms were well appointed with any amenities you would need, especially the kitchen. This house is decorated so beautifully, it was a real home away from home! We especially loved the screened porch and easy stroll to the Hub and shops. My family stayed here March 2023 over our daughters high school spring break. She brought along a friend and we also brought our 2 small cavapoos. I would highly recommend this house as a vacation rental. It came with 4 bikes and was close to all the wonderful amenities in Prominence!

Wonderful vacation home!

This is a fabulous beach vacation rental! Everything from booking to check in and check out was easy and smooth. The house was clean and beautifully decorated with a wonderful screened in front porch perfect for relaxation. The Big Chill is just steps away and the bikes that are included with the rental made getting to the beach and other shops/restaurants very convenient. We love 30A and will definitely look for availability for this fabulous house on our next planned vacation. We definitely recommend!

This home was so comfortable for my family! The location is great as it is right in the middle of all of the cute little beach towns on 30A. The home was very clean, beds were super comfy, had everything we needed, loved the porch, it was very quiet and really one of our favorite vacation rentals we have ever stayed at. We really didn’t want to leave. We will never need to look for another rental when visiting 30A again.

We had a wonderful time here! Our family of 4 plus 1 adult loved “SandyLand South”! Our twin 8 year olds enjoyed their rooms, the gorgeous pool and all the events at The Hub! We had plenty of room to host family dinner with our friends who stayed in a condo across the street! This home is gorgeous and so well taken care of! Having a garage and little side yard made it feel just like home! The front porch is perfect for cocktails or to enjoy rainy days and book reading! We could not have been more happy with this property!!!

We had a great time at Sandyland! We've stayed in this neighborhood in the past and we love it. It's close to all of the stuff that 30A has, within walking distance to the Hub and close enough to Panama City Beach and Destin so if you want to do the tourist stuff you can do so easily. This was our first time bringing our dogs and this house was perfect for them - the recently added fenced in yard and grass were something that our know our dogs loved. The house is in awesome shape and very comfortable for a group of adults - we had 6 and everyone had more than enough space.

We just finished up over a month at this beautiful home in Prominence 30a. The best part about the location is the Hub, bursting with activities for all. The only challenge of the location was the Public beach access which was a little hard to get to and even FULL on those crazy Spring break days! We arrived to a lovely clean, well stocked home. The kitchen has just everything you need including starters for coffee, soap, paper towels, etc. The Wi-fi and TV worked great. Communication with the owners was fast and professional. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this home!

March of 2023, the family and I took a vacation to 30a and stayed at this lovely location! We've been to 30a before, but this location is far above our previous stay in the big chill (previously the Hub) area. Everything was just as advertised and we love the property. If we could move in, we would!! The Location is perfect !! The owner was very accommodating and was available for any questions that came up during the course of our stay. Even though a snafu on our side, the owner was very accommodating, honest, supportive and helpful along the way. We appreciated everything about this stay and look forward to returning. I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a pristine location to stay with your family and/or friends. Thanks Again

Great place not best location for beach.

Everything about the accommodations were great !! The house was amazing !!! The downsides were the construction going on with very loud music during the day. There was also no direct beach access. I would not recommend this neighborhood with an elderly relative. Being next to the Hub was very convenient but at night people would park anywhere, including in your parking spots. The neighborhood pools are very nice but very crowded.

Family Beach Vacation

This was our first time visiting 30A and this house was perfect. The beds were comfortable, the living area & kitchen nice and open. The Hub is amazing we walked over there multiple times each day. Gorgeous house! We had a wonderful time. There were 7 of us total and we never felt crowded.

We love the location of our property within the Prominence community. Our home is in a quiet corner on the south side of 30A. With easy access to the shops and restaurants of The HUB, you will always be near the action. We are also an easy bike ride to the Deer Lake State Park beach access which is located in between Watersound beach and Watersound West beach. It is one of the last wide open beaches on 30A!!!

We have outfitted Sandyland South with everything you will need to have an enjoyable vacation! A Golf Cart is included in the rental for your use. Four free bikes are included and additional bike rentals are conveniently located at Salt Air Bike rentals located a short walk away at The HUB. Pet walking stations are located throughout the community as well. Beach chairs and an umbrella are also included!
