This is the second time I’ve booked with this property. It’s at a great location, central to a lot of things. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a space that has a fridge and the convenience of it all.
Great location. Great price. Moldy smell. Very cramped. Stayed 10 days but couldn't get any needed refills. Restaurant at the place is terrible. Noisey but bus stops in front. Is this really a hotel? I would say similar to motel 6. 19 minute walk to Waikiki beach. Location was amazing!
My vacation nice. Some essential items need some attention.
This was my first time using a private listing.
The check in and out was surprising easy.
Neighborhood of location, the places to walk to shop, restaurants and beach was excellent.
The reason on a 3 for overall rating- I was disappointed in the cookware the frying pan teflon finish was worn out. There was no spatula to flip eggs. The lock on the door was busted. The beach chair was all ratted and busted out it was unusable. The owner should needs to replace some essential items. It was nice to have the washer and dryer located close by. Having the corner area was nice to have 2 balconies. This place is quite comparable to other locations.
I’m the heart of Waikiki! The room was as described. We ran into a small issue with the window and it was taken care of immediately. Communicating was speedy.

Cleaning wasn’t done upon arrival, but sent someone right away. Simple, quiet accommodation. Not as big as pictures make it seem. Quick communication. Was able to cook meals, but nothing provided, so you need your own coffee filters, oil, etc.

I've stayed at the Bamboo several times over the years. I like the closeness to the beach and shopping/buses. This trip however, the refrigerator in the room was so full of ice build up (one third full) that the ice tray had to be jammed into the freezer. As the refrigerator wouldn't get cold to cool food & drinks, I defrosted the refrigerator. The food & drinks now got cold. As well, there was an intermittent sewer gas smell in the kitchen over my stay. Otherwise, room was OK and the hotel staff are excellent.

This property was within walking distance of a lot of shops, restaurants and the beach!
Pros: walking distance of things to do, convenient, kitchenette, AC
Cons: weird smell from the sink, furniture/walls were a bit weathered

This room was good. Views where nice! New carpet or a really good Carpet cleaning is needed though. Also a deep cleaning of the room is needed as well. Walls where dirty and carpet smelled like old spilt beer. other wise the room was great!
