Featuring a large back deck, grill and ample parking with airy views of the Green Mountains in a quiet, lush setting.

Host was very responsive, house was exactly as pictured. Very comfortable and homey. Really liked the fireplace inside and the big couch in the living room to hang out and play some cards/games. Perfect for our group of 6. Did not feel crammed at all!

The location is great. You need a good car in a snow as house is up the hill but that is most of properties in Stowe. 20 min to Spruce Peak Village. 25 min to Bolton Valley James is kind and helpful. Place has an older feel but is very accomodating with nice linens and comfortable beds. it really has everything you need including hot showers. You will be happy with your stay it will feel magical.

Very charming place in a peaceful surrounding

We were a family of 4 adults staying for 2 nights. Everything was perfect. The house is very roomy and has a charming deck.

James was great. The house was cozy and we loved the living room couch! So random but it was perfect for movie nights and morning snuggles with the kids (ages 3, 4 and 6), very comfortable! The house was cool on the hot days and looked like it would be great in the cold months with the fireplaces. Kitchen was stocked with everything utensil wise we needed. Would stay again.

Great spot for any season

This was the perfect space for our small family golf trip. There’s plenty of space for 5-6 people, and it’s spaced out enough where everyone has privacy. Overall, great location, would definitely stay again. Thanks James

Great location, plenty of room

Had a terrific ski trip on a long weekend. The house was clean, cozy, and close to town/resort. Plenty of options for dining out and exploring within driving distance.

Beautiful place, great location

The cabin had plenty of space and the quiet location is 5 minutes outside of town. James was a great host and the house was stocked with everything we needed. We look forward to staying again soon!

Great spot!

We were lucky enough to stay at James's place for the eclipse. The house was clean and comfortable and James was a terrific host. You can’t beat the location. We enjoyed hiking, visiting the Von Trapp family lodge, shopping in Stowe and it’s was an easy 40 minute drive to Burlington.

Perfect for a ski weekend getaway

The house was perfect. Exactly as it appears in the picture. Very clean and well maintained. The instructions were excellent and the owner was incredibly responsive. Will definitely stay here again.

Nice spot

Family of 5 ski vacation. 2 adults and 3 teens. This was our 2nd time in Stowe and we wanted a bigger place than the one we had 3 years ago. Cabin was as advertised. Quiet spot but only a few minutes from town and 25 min from mountain. Kitchen fully stocked with pots/utensils. Big comfortable couch. We didn't really hang out down in the basement but there was a full bedroom and the house could definitely hold 2-3 more people comfortably. Highly recommend this rental.

The cabin has an interesting layout. There is an en suite bedroom upstairs, and two more bedrooms that share a bath in the hall. Two floors down, in a basement that has a window, is another beautiful bedroom, but there is no bath on that level. There is a half bath on the walk-in, middle level of the house, but it has no shower. So if you were staying in the lower bedroom, you would walk up two floors to take a shower. The kitchen is well equipped with good quality cookware, flatware and dishes. The glasses are kind of a scramble, but there are stems for wine. There are two coffee makers, one that uses pods and the other ground coffee, and there are filters for it. Excellent laundry equipment is in the lowest level. Nice views from the decks, of which there are three. The host requests no shoes in the house, which suits us perfectly as we are not accustomed to wearing shoes in our house either. each room has zoned electric heating. altogether, this is a very comfortable cabin!

Accommodations were great. Multiple TVs. Teenage kids to hide away if they wanted to while we were in the house. Grilled out one night. 10-15 minutes from just about everything in the area

Great Cabin in a quiet area

Booked close to dates we needed to be in Vermont. Very nice cabin, with lots of room if you have a group of folks. Three bedrooms upstairs, 2 baths, master with en-suite. Individual AC's in bedrooms and living room, nice deck, good sized kitchen with everything you may need for cooking. Internet access was good, couches comfortable, cute area downstairs with separate bedroom and living room area. Nice laundry area as well. Would recommend and look forward to coming back again.

Great weekend getaway

My family of 6 (4 kids ages 9-3) had a soccer tournament for my oldest over the weekend. Tough to find a hotel that would accommodate that many, and have space for the little ones to roam. Found this great cabin that fit our needs. Spacious, with enough rooms for all (with AC on each room; we had a very hot weekend). Easy access to Stowe. Only 35 minutes from Burlington. Highly recommended!

So cute and comfortable!

The quaint Stowe cabin is aptly named! Open kitchen/dining room/ living room allowed for everyone to be together. Beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with supplies (More than enough plates, silverware, cookware, and serving platers & bowls). Please note that the grassy yard is quite slanted. We gathered outside on the porch or the large driveway area which was great as well. The Quaint Stowe Cabin is about a 10 minute drive to Stowe town center and 15-20 minutes from Waterbury. Great location!

We loved everything about this home. It was absolutely perfect for my family of 7 to spend a long weekend skiing, shopping and making amazing food together. There was plenty of room, lots of firewood, nice linens, great stocked kitchen and a super comfy couch that all 7 of us could sit on at once.

Sweet weekend in the woods

Fantastic weekend exploring Stowe - the house was perfect for our family - very comfortable beds, everything you might need in the kitchen, plenty of room to move about, multiple bathrooms, very clean and exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend!!!

Great location and lots of space

This is a great vacation home for stays near Stowe. We had plenty of space inside and the basement bedroom is surprisingly comfortable as well. The deck is great for enjoying nice weather with a table for eating meals. A couple small complaints, a few of the patio dining chairs were unstable and seemed to be broken. There was also a slight mildewy smell in the upstairs area, but this might have been a symptom of the humid weather. Overall, the property is very comfortable especially for families.

Great for large familes

This home worked perfectly for our large family vacation. It's very kid friendly, the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. Internet was strong. Air conditioning on the main and second floor (it was in the 90s when we were there) was amazing. Location was awesome too- only a short drive to downtown Stowe. James was extremely helpful and communicative.
