Great vacation

We had a great vacation at the house, which was clean, very close to the beach and right next door to a great bar. Topsail Island is a great destination, not too overcrowded and overhyped like Outer Banks

Need a elevator, setting area in living room was a little on the hard side. Shower on top floor needs a little work on turning shower head on, it loose.

Perfect week

Loved the location, loved the home. The dryer did take 3 cycles to dry, but they ruin clothes anyway and we air dried. Would love to stay at this home again

Great location!

The location was amazing! You had both sound and ocean views! The house was nice and a great size. Our party of 10 fit very well in it. However the house could really use some general maintenance. Closet doors were broken, closets were completely full of random items and the beds were rock hard. A little TLC would make this house a gem!

Great place with minor issues

We loved the house, very roomy with lots of room in the bedrooms , the one main issue was the beds are not very comfortable. The master bed is very stiff and when you lay down you roll toward the middle. But over all we had a great time and would stay there again. Thanks

Extremely wonderful

Started off a little rocky because our only key copy wouldn’t/couldn’t turn the lock to open the door. Thankfully the realtor got back to us about 10-15 minutes in and came and brought us two new copies! House was better than expected! Had extra beds (we didn’t need them but wow what a cool surprise!) and the house was well supplied for our extracurriculars! Carol was so sweet! Would rent again!!

Decent stay with some flaws

House is close to the playground and public access which is very nice. Equipped with everything you need except towels and linens, which are cheap to rent. The listing is vague with beds and layout so we weren’t sure what to expect. The first floor has a master bedroom and an attached bathroom, the second bedroom on the first floor has a twin bunk and a full. Upstairs has a Queen and a twin with another bathroom. Beds are comfortable for the most part. Except the queen master bed which is a mattress flipped upside down (not double sided) with a thin mattress topper. It is extremely uncomfortable. Like sleeping on a boulder with a sleeping bag underneath you. The living room upstairs has 3 couches and 2 coffee tables, which was not fun to navigate on crutches since there isn’t really floor space for that much furniture. Overall, we would stay there again if the price stays the same and the mattress is replaced with something that doesn’t make you feel like you fell off a cliff when you wake up.

Great House, Rental Company Needs Work

This house is great! Location is perfect with the beach just a short walk away. The playground across the street was fantastic. The rooms in the house are much larger than pictured and we were very comfortable. We could have fit two pack-in-plays in our 2nd floor master room and still had ample space. We had a nice trip. Please be advised there is no deck facing the ocean. There are decks on the back of the house for sound views, but really no way to see the ocean except from the bedrooms and the view isn't great. The only downfalls were with the rental company. The listing doesn't mention the size of the beds, so I emailed to check on that and was sent a flier with information about the house, except it was vague information about all rental properties this company oversees. It mentioned a grill, but we had no idea if there was a grill on the property. I inquired about that and a coffee maker and was told someone was going to the property to give me answers, but we got no answers. The outside shower had no water running to it, so we couldn't use that. The master bedroom on the second floor needs a new mattress. Our heads were lower than our feet. Again, great house, not so great rental company. I called after the trip and still haven't gotten a response.

Clean home with pretty view

This house was perfect for a quick family get away. The sound view is beautiful. It’s in a busier spot but was a good location for our plans for the weekend. The listing could be updated with more details and better pics. We enjoyed our stay. It was clean and well kept!

Great location for families with older kids

This house was perfect for our family of 6 for a week. It was clean and spacious, and an easy walk to the beach. The kitchen was well equipped, which I appreciated, since we prepared almost all of our meals at the house. We got to experience our first hurricane here - Isaias - and we felt secure and safe through it all. Beautiful view of the sound from the back deck. Just a short drive to restaurants and shopping. We had a wonderful, relaxing week here!

Family trip with grandparents

Great location. 3 minute walk to beach access and less than 2 miles to town where there are a few ice cream shops, coffee and a few restaurants. The mattresses on the beds are uncomfortable and if they were replaced the house would be perfect.
