First time to Fort Walden

Beautiful condo. Absolutely perfect for family with kids. Location was perfect and the balcony was amazing. Beautiful view of the ocean especially with full moon on the ocean. Will definitely go back to this condo next time we go to fort Walden.

Great place!

We loved the spacious layout and the common room was perfect for everyone to hang out. The location to the beach was awesome! The view from the balcony was beautiful! Felt at home and would absolutely rent again. Great location just far enough away from touristy areas, and close enough to restaurants and grocery stores. The only thing I would say was a negative was the two patio doors are very hard to open.

We loved everything about this stay! Very clean, great balcony view, nice location. Only complaint is kitchen was not stocked with typical items like plastic wrap, baggies, etc.

Great stay.

Great space. Very clean. Well supplied. The entire building is clean and well maintained. Vacasa sends tons of messages/texts to keep you informed. The only negative was that the sliding doors to the balcony don't slide so well; it takes a lot of force.

So close to the beach!

We enjoyed the beach and free beach setup. Balcony had a perfect view! Master bed was too wiggly and it shook with my husband just breathing. The sliding doors to balcony need repair. Dishwasher drawer very wonky. Those things can be fixed. You can’t beat the close beach access!

Great location! Maintenance needed.

Both sliding doors had issues locking. The living room one had to be replaced while we were there. When we finally got the bedroom one locked again we just didn’t use anymore.The kitchen faucet was wonky. Didn’t function properly and had to figure out the off position each time used.Also, the dishwasher did not clean dishes. Maintenance man came and deemed that it needed to be replaced. Needless to say the fully loaded dishwasher had to be unloaded and hand washed. Along with all other dishes our entire stay with 5 adults using dishes.I asked for a partial refund in light of these inconveniences on our vacation but never heard back or received any. I don’t think that is unreasonable since all issue should have been checked prior to our visit.Thank you for your attention to our review.

Home Away From Home

I booked this condo because it had 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The pictures don't do this place justice. It is absolutely beautiful! I was a little worried about the view since this was our first time staying in a lower level floor. The view was amazing! This condo was clean and very comfortable. All of the beds were comfortable, even the pull out couch one of our teenagers slept on. Someone from the rental company called to check on us a couple of times during our stay. They also have great customer service. If you are looking for a clean, spacious condo with a great view that feels "homey", this is your place!

Beautiful views

Beautiful gulf views. Condo was perfect for 4 adults and a toddler. Each bedroom has a bathroom. Stocked kitchen. We did notice the floors needed cleaned. A quick swiffer cleaned it up. The patio chairs need power washed or painted but nothing too bad we still sat out there most of the time. Do wish there was a deadbolt lock on the front door, especially with the twin room beside it. I purchased a travel lock for the front. Overall I would give it 4 stars. It was easy to access and a nice condo for the week. We will be back

Needs some work

The view was great. The distance to the beach and pool was perfect. Super close. This home needs an update in general. The carpets were very worn and stained. The showers need updated. It wasn’t the cleanest…there was a mildew smell on all of the pillows in the master bedroom. There was silverfish in the bathtub and the outside patio chairs had to be cleaned as the prior guests clearly were putting out their cigarettes on the arms of the chairs. It wasn’t terrible but I wouldn’t stay here again.

Great Location! Not much insulation between floors.

The Good: Loved the location. Water was beautiful. Ian the beach attendant was great. It was peaceful like we wanted but restaurants and shopping were only a short distance away. Unit 2001E was clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed for kitchen. The Bad: Sliders did not slide well. Extremely difficult to open and needed two hands and was still hard. Elderly might not be able to do it. Smokers were above us which made it hard to stay out a couple of the nights since they were out and smoke was drifting into our balcony. Could also hear toilet flushing and chairs moving across floor in early morning.

Girls getaway

Having 3 large bathrooms was Amazing! The beds were comfortable, the space perfect for the 8 of us. Our only complaint was no coffee filters for the coffee pot and no dish soap to hand wash some dishes. The view can’t be beat. Steps away from the beach and the end unit was very quiet. Thanks for a great weekend!

Fabulos!

The view from the balcony is gorgeous! We had a very relaxing stay in this beautiful property, which was very clean and well-appointed. The complimentary beach setup was much appreciated, but it would be great to also have some additional beach chairs and umbrellas in the unit if that would be at all possible. Kitchen faucet could use some adjustment also. Overall though it was perfect!

Unit was very clean! Perfect lay out and was exactly what we needed for our family group. View was perfect! Downsides: Sliding glass doors in unit were very difficult. The one in the living room was difficult to open/close. Needing to use body weight to open/close. Glass door in master bedroom, we could never get opened and could not use. Dishwasher didn't get dishes clean very well and they came out wet every time.
