Beachfront Pukehina Apartment

Tastefully decorated apartment. Wake up to the sounds of the waves breaking on the shore. Take a long walk on the beach before breakfast. Chill out for the rest of the day or perhaps take a short 30 min drive to either Tauranga or Whakatane for that long lunch and some retail therapy. Tons to do or do nothing at all! That's the beauty of this place, and we invite you to experience our paradise from our self-contained apartment. Seaviews from lounge and bedroom. Excellent fishing beach. Shop and takeaways an easy 2 km walk. There is also a cafe and bar 400m walk (Montys)

Special conditions:
Smoking outside only. 2 nights minimum stay - 7 nights maximum stay (unless otherwise organised prior to stay). One queen bed in bedroom, with two double sofabeds in lounge (also one queen and one double foam mattress, but bedding not supplied for these) - suit 1 couple/2singles or 2 couples. Cleaning equipment/supplies provided. Playstation 1 on tv in bedroom.

Extras: Cleaning (Optional, NZ$50.00 extra per stay); NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Bring your own linen (towels/ bath mat/sheets/tea towels).

The Pukehina batch was perfect, so comfortable and relaxing. It had everything you needed well laid out. We loved the bifold doors wide open with the view of the sea right there in front of you. The batch is stepped back slightly between buildings so is protected from the wind a little. The last night in bed upstairs was spent watching the amazing lightening show out at sea.

Great location on the beach & a short walk to the friendly bar/cafe down the road. Communication from Lynell was quick & accommodating & the welcome bottle of wine was a lovely touch! The shower was great & upstairs bed was comfy. Overall a great stay & would recommend for those who love fishing, kaimoana gathering or just being outdoors. Suggestions for improvement: The TV has patchy reception, so perhaps some cards or board games for entertainment? The fan upstairs is not effective & needs replacing.

Great spot

Overall a very great spot. Stairs to beach could be tricky to walk down, but just need to take it slowly. Communication was faultless with vendor. Would recommend and would stay again.

Great stay, the property was very clean when we arrived and very spacious. Near the end days of our stay the power began to trip - it was the oven that was tripping. No biggie, once that's fixed then everything else is fine

I checked the oven after you had left. It went for the full 30 mins that I set on the timer. Did you set the timer dial on the right to maximum time?

Absolutely stunning! Everything you want and need right at your doorstep. The location is superb, the bach itself has amazing views to the sea, and has Everything you need for cooking, cleaning and washing. Was a perfect little get away for me and the teenagers. Didn't have much luck with the fishing only catching a kahawai and a large amount of seaweed, however just being out there was the best part. Thank you Lynell for allowing us to get away from reality and staying in your beautiful home. Apologies again for the noisy teenagers.
