Overlooking the harbour, with views to Paku and Pauanui, it is just a 1 minute walk to the shops,restaurants, cafes, playground, tennis courts and library.

A short stroll takes you to the spectacular Ocean beach. Take a walk up to the top of Paku, or drivwWe up to the summit and stroll up from there.
Tairua is the perfect place to base yourself to explore the Coromandel - only a short half hour drive to Hot Water Beach and Cathedral Cove and to start exploring everything the Coromandel has to offer.

A short walk to village shops cafes,and library with free internet.

Safe for swimming.Two canoes available.
Please note: The property is NOT fully fenced, so younger children will be able to access both the sea and the road.

NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Clean the house and do the dishes before you leave; Bring your own linen (towels/sheets/tea towels);

Amazing view and location

Such a lovely place to stay. The bach is simple but comfortable, and the view is amazing. It was very clean and the check in process simple. We would love to stay again.

Family reunion overnight stay

Typical kiwi bach, great location right on the water and in town, we only really got to sleep here in the end, so will be back another day to enjoy the property more!

Great location

Location excellent, great views to enjoy from either inside or the porch, depending on weather. Check-in a bit hard: address poorly marked. No Wifi is regrettable. Canoes dirty and usable only around high tide.

Lovely basic batch

This is a lovely and basic batch - in a good location to estuary and shops. Beach only a short drive.However advertised with smart TV- BUT NO WIFI, although there was a modem. We think in this day and age WIFI should in included especially as listing shows smart tvThis is the reason for our slightly lower rating Also no BBQ - it would have been nice to be able to BBQ. Overall a reasonable Bach.

What a Spot

Its nothing flash but it doesnt need to be. It has everything you need and is probably in the best spot you could ask for. A park for the kids next door, the local shops 1min walk away and the water on your front door.

Considerably overpriced for facilities provided

No bed linen or towels provided. No basic pantry items, salt, pepper, tea, coffee, sugar, etc. No air conditioning. Yes, the location was nice but facilities were below par.

Awesome little cottage classic kiwi bach! On the water front, 45second walk to town, shops, restaurants, playground - almost fish off your doorstep. Heaters for if it’s cold, kayaks (be careful of the fibreglass wife got splinters in her arm lol) we are going back for sure the people in that town were lovely the food was great what a place!!!

Nothing on the listing to indicate there would be no linen, towels, soaps, condiments.Pity really as it was a lovely batch in a great location.

View to die for

This bach was a great little find, cozy and comfortable, overlooking the estuary, and very close to shops, take-aways, and restaurants. Tairua beach is a short walk along the water's edge path. We particularly enjoyed going for a paddle in the canoes.

Close to amenities

It was handy to walk to town for coffee and food. When the tide is in was a nice place to have a wee swim. The view is very pretty. Online there were two different check-in and check-out times which caused some confusion. I really don't like having to download the vrbo app just to get information about the check-in, out, linen and key information etc!

Lovely to come back again

We were so excited to get back down to this cool little bach again this year. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side and we had to cut our trip short due to storms and flooding!
