We have 2 children , and 4 grand children. All if the family love to come to Pukawa for holidays. We love to travel and have travelled extensively around the world. We always have a plan on the go for further travel. My husband is a passionate fisherman, both fly fishing and sea fishing. I love to cook and have a catering business, for small events such as long lunches and dinner parties. We both love good food, friends, family and music. We live in the Bay of Plenty.
dianll610 purchased this Chalet in 1981
Why dianll610 chose Pukawa
We bought this property as it was quiet, had amazing bird life, close to the lake for great trout fishing, and not too far to Tongariro River, one of the best trout fishing rivers in the world, and not far to the ski fields at Whakapapa Mt Ruapehu. In recent years the Tongariro crossing has become a trek hundreds of thousands of tourists have come here to walk , though it we not why we bought the property.
What makes this Chalet unique
Abundant native bird life. Walk to Oreti Restaurant and Timeshare village, a popular venue for a wedding. Walk to the lake for fly fishing in the local stream. Private grounds.
