Only a hour from South Auckland our family Beach House is rested on top of the hill at Waharau, Kaiaua with stunning views across to the Coromandel Peninsula. Enjoy your own space in a quiet community setting.

This is the second time we have stayed here. The bach is well equipped, well aired with comfortable beds. The location is superb and there are plenty of walking tracks and other activities in the area. Keven is very welcoming and responds quickly to questions.

Allm information was accurate and the view was magnificent. We had luck with stuff left behind and we also left usable stuff behind. Maybe one tip is how to deal with the rubbish more clear. We went for a yellow bag to the shop like mentioned in the instructions but the shop said to use the container.

Weekend away for 3 generations of family. Beautiful spot. The house was homely, warm and comfortable. We had everything we needed. The view is amazing and I could’ve sat on the deck and taken the surroundings in for hours. Easy communication with the hosts. We visited for 2 nights, and found ourselves wanting to stay longer. Wished we could have booked for a week! The view is magical, as the holiday home has a great elevated position. Dad built this holiday home 30 years ago when his parents use to live next door. Many decades of memories with dad camping at Kaiaua as a kid and visiting the local mechanic where the neighbours big black shed is now
