A cute, well-equipped cottage with a great view. Oil heaters in each room for our Winter stay. Beds are large which sometimes makes access to wardrobes difficult. Good shower pressure. Lots of parking. Nespresso machine a bonus. Would definitely stay again 👍

Joelene's house is a treasure

We were totally at home from the moment we opened the front door. The house was superbly well appointed, spacious open-plan with such well placed comfortable furniture and beds. The kitchen had everything we needed, and Joelene even delivered a compost bin to the property as we like to avoid filling rubbish bins with material that could feed worms etc. She couldn't have been more thoughtful! The location of the house is exceptional with sunny outlook to the sea, generous and well designed deck spaces; the proximity and views over the coastal walk/cycle way were the icing on the cake. We're keen to return!

Beautiful property with an incredible view. Booked last minute to attend a funeral and owner was accommodating and communicative. Met us at the property and let us check in early. We stayed as a large family with two young babies and house was suitable. Would 100% stay again.

House is in a great location and has everything you need. Views, beach, coffee are all handy. Only Tricksy with kids as nowhere to chat away from the bedrooms when they go to bed. Has a fab time - thank you.

Best Spot New Plymouth

Jolene is friendly, non-intrusive, efficient and her bach is spacious, comfortable, close to beach, walkways, cafes, shops with a very laid back vibe. Sun, deck, views of sea and quiet at night. Action (swim, surf, bike, skate) or rest up with cold drinks, great coffee on the deck or comfy couches. You'll never want to leave. We have done a summer and winter stay now and both were outstanding (got lucky with blue day weather both times but had a couple of windy colder days and was fun to rug up and beach walk and blow out cobwebs then cozy up watching waves and netflix). Sunny or other it's the best holiday. And beautiful linen on comfy beds. Thanks Jolene. We love your place - was such a treat.
