Wintle93 - Sunny, pet-friendly kiwi bach with stunning views, walk to the estuary and surf beach
Please note for New Years bookings you must ENQUIRE first before booking as we have different requirements for this period.
Enjoy breathtaking views from the living areas and sunny deck of this iconic, traditional Kiwi Bachone of the original baches on the street. This retro hideaway is a low-key, no-frills property with an old-school charm. If you're after an easy-going property, Wintle 93 is the one for you.
There are 2 separate self-contained units on two separate levels meeting the holiday needs for the extended family or use only upstairs for a smaller family. Each level has extensive views of the estuary, dunes beyond.
The upper level has open plan living, dining full kitchen as well as a bathroom and two bedrooms. There are decks both front rear with the front deck having spectacular views and the rear deck BBQ outdoor eating facilities.
The lower level includes another lounge, bedroom, second shower toilet with limited cooking facilities and a washing machine/dryer.
A short level walk to the surf beach avoids any parking issues during busy periods. While for the more active its an easy stroll through the camping areas along the estuary to the shops.
There is also now a Nespresso machine, BYO pods
Notes:
1. If you would like to bring your pet, please check with us first and please be aware that the property is not fully fenced.
2. If you have a low vehicle the angle from the driveway to the road may cause the underneath of the bumper to scrape as you enter or exit the drive. Please contact us if you need further information in regard to this.
3. There is no internal access between the 2 levels.
4. The upstairs deck is not suitable for young children as it was built before current building compliance codes for decks.
LINEN OPTIONS: To keep your holiday more affordable, for this property we offer linen as an optional extra for guests who prefer to bring their own. If you choose to bring your own linen, you will need to supply top and bottom sheets, pillowcases, towels and bath mats. Pillows, Duvets and Duvet covers will be provided.
Alternatively, a rental linen package is available for $25 per person. To request this service, please add a note to your booking specifying the number of people requiring linen and which beds you would like prepared.
BOOKING PAYMENT: Although your credit card details are taken during the booking process, we won't automatically charge your credit card. Once your booking is approved we will send you a payment email with a choice of credit card payment (a 3% surcharge applies) or bank transfer (no charges).
