This home is a quiet and relaxing retreat with breath-taking lake and mountain views.
The home is beautifully appointed and well thought-out. The spacious open plan kitchen and living area opens up onto a large balcony with the most spectacular, elevated views of Lake Wakatipu and surrounding mountains.
Every detail in this home has been carefully considered to ensure a comfortable stay. This 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom, townhouse is set over three levels. An open plan kitchen, dining and living room area with a powder room on the first level.
The master bedroom with en-suit and balcony is located upstairs.
Downstairs you find the twin (or king) bedroom and the queen bedroom with bathroom. Both bathrooms has a bathtub with shower.
The home is located in a quiet residential area with walking tracks, parks and playgrounds close by and just a short 5 minute drive to town, perfect for families looking for a relaxing retreat in Queenstown.

Our family holiday home is managed exclusively by Harcourts Holiday Homes and means that they are able to ensure everything in our home is kept up to the highest standards, and while they operate NZ office hours, they are always available to send the appropriate person around to ensure any urgent problem is fixed immediately. Having access to emergency services such as plumbers and electricians, provide peace of mind to us, so that your stay will never be compromised.
This home is privately owned and please, we ask you to please treat is as your own during your stay. Guest(s) making a booking must be over 25 years of age. Additionally, all guests who are unaccompanied by a parent or guardian must also be over 25 years of age.
Check in time: the property will be available from 3:00pm on the day of your arrival Check out time: is 10:00am on the morning of departure. Please return the key to the lock-box on check-out.
NO SMOKING POLICY -室内外禁止吸烟 -Smoking is not permitted in this holiday home, outside or in any of the common areas. Breach of this policy will result in a cleaning fee being applied to the guest who made the booking.
Our holiday homes must be left in a clean and tidy condition upon departure. Should the home require excessive cleaning over and above what is deemed reasonable, a charge of $40.00 plus gst per hour will be on-charged to the guest who made the booking. This includes but not limited to doing dishes, pots and pans, removal of rubbish, cleaning the oven after use and the BBQ.
As our holiday homes are all non -serviced we provide complimentary consumables sufficient for the first 2 days of your stay such as toiletries, toilet paper and soap. The other condiments, spices etc in the pantry cupboard are for your use but are not intentionally provided. Feel free to use what you need but it would be appreciated if you could replace or leave something similar when you leave.
RUBBISH - We kindly ask that you dispose of the rubbish correctly. If rubbish is found on your departure which is not in the correct bins provided, any disposal and sorting costs incurred will be on-charged to the guest who made the booking.
As residential homes you are asked to respect quiet hours between 10pm and 7am. The number of occupants is as per the reservation and may not be increased without approval from Harcourts Property Management. Increased occupancy, excessive noise or illegal activity may result in penalty charges and eviction and forfeiture of all prepaid rental monies.
DAMAGES /NEGLIGENCE We accept that breakages and accidents do happen, the person who made the booking is responsible to report any breakage to Harcourts Property Management and Rentals.
The property has centrally activated power. If the power isn`t activated already, turn the key in the power switch located inside the front door on the left-hand side.

This the 2nd time that we've stayed on 9b on Von. It's very comfortable, fully equipped kitchen & a view to die for. If we come back to Queenstown, it would be our choice of accommodation again.However, for the price charged, we were surprised that there is no bbq & NO free to air television. Also, the property lists that parking is available, but that is only street parking, on a "first come, first served" basis. The garage is not available. That should be made clearer.

You can't stop looking out the window or popping out onto the balcony to take in this magnificent and ever-changing vista. Beds are very comfortable indeed and the home has everything you could need on a break away from the mundane..

Magnificent view from this gorgeous house. Lovely and warm with fireplace and heaters. Had everything we needed. Love that soap and shampoo etc were provided (unlike our next place in Wanaka). Plenty of towels too. Very comfy beds. Great place.

Fabulous living area with fire and plenty of firewood. Loved our stay although parking for 2 cars was a bit challenging at times however didn’t detract from our stay. Would definitely stay again.
We stayed with a group of friends and couldn't fault anything at all!
The house was warm and clean, well equipped with everything we needed and amazing views.
Check in was easy and the beds were super comfortable!
It was slightly further out of town than I had expected but wasn't an issue as we just drove to town each day or could catch an uber for about $12.
A great place to stay, highly recommend!
The property has a panoramic view that is unforgettable. It is close to town, although I wouldn’t advise trying to walk home after a few ales as the hill is steep. The one upstairs and two downstairs bedrooms are very separate making it ideal for friend groups.

We had a great stay. The property is in a great location and was in immaculate condition. This would be a perfect review if it wasn't for the power and heating setup that has been installed. This would not be an issue in warmer months but it should be highlighted that in winter months you cannot have any heating running when you are not at the house. The owners have added a requirement to have a special key inserted in an internal power box that provides power to the heaters, and in fact many powerpoints, so you can even leave a laptop charging in some parts of the house while away. The reason provided is that doing so is a fire risk however I am not convinced that is the case as these heaters are designed to be safely left on. It is more likely to be power mgmt related to reduce costs. Once you return to the house it takes at least an hour to warm up, so effectively if you are in and out through the day it never has a chance to warm up. If you then go out to dinner you come back to a cold house again so you sit up chatting or watching TV with blankets and then by the time it is warm you are probably off to bed. Unfortunately this did detract a great deal from enjoying our time at what is a great property that is well run and well looked after. Would we use in warmer months? Absolutely.

Hi Nathan, thank you for your honest review. We certainly strive to ensure every guest has a great stay. Regarding the power system of this home we do find the home quite sufficient with its heating. In the past there has been a few experiences where heating was left on for very extended period of time, thus causing safety issues. With the fire burner as well this usually provides enough heat for the home whilst our guests are away. We do appreciate this feedback and will certainly take this on board for future guests. Amazing Views
The apartment was spacious and clean and very well equipped. I would not hesitate to book again. 5 adults were in our party and it never felt crowded. Walking into town is a bit of a mission as the property sits on the top of a very steep hill but we were able to grab a taxi for $20.

Fantastic place to stay in every way - stunning views, great location and we had everything we neede
This apartment has absolutely everything you could possibly need - the only thing we were a little disappointed in was there was no BBQ which would have used a lot during our stay as we had visitors from Australia for 2 of the nights we were there and we would have loved to give them that kiwi BBQ! The views stunning, location very good but you do need a car as the hill is rather a killer if you walk it as I did once! The apartment was spotlessly clean, furnishings and beds etc all very nice. Has a washing machine/dryer also very good. Also nice to have a few groceries in the pantry. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay in beautiful Queenstown. We would definitely book this again in the future.
