Stayed at Helen's place to compete in the Whaka 100. The location was super convenient (could ride to the start) and very clean with lots of space and amenities, including the all important Nespresso coffee pod machine! Would definitely recommend, especially for families.
It was really good to stay here as it was easy access in terms of travelling, stores, airport, central.
Good Location as everything was close by and everyone liked to stay.
Helen was great to deal with, responded to queries promptly, the house was immaculate and furnished perfectly for a group stay, definitely recommended.

Great property for our group of 2 adults and 4 teenagers. Lovely and clean, comfy beds with everything we needed for a wonderful weekend stay. We arrived a bit later than expected, so Helen put on the heat pump so it was warm and cosy for our arrival. Would definitely recommend.

Thank you Kylie I enjoyed having you and chatting to your family.
I love seeing people enjoy the garden and barbecue area!
We stayed two nights at this property in Springfield for a short family getaway, before school resumed. The accommodation was perfect for our needs - a comfortable and dry base to return home to at the end of a days activities. The apartment was spotlessly clean, and a lot more spacious than we were expecting! The location was really convenient being so close to the Redwood forest bike tracks. The beds were comfy. Communication with the host was prompt and easy to understand, and the little extra's that Helen provided were greatly appreciated. I'd happily stay here again, next time we come to Rotorua.

The property is placed in an accessible location from the attractions like the Skyline, Zorb and the Town Center. The host was very kind and accommodative. Overall the stay was memorable.
We really enjoyed our 2 nights here. Helen is a lovely friendly host, and helpful with local recommendations of what to do and where to eat. Loved it. Thanks
Welcome to my home. I have lived here for 36 years and I love to share my local knowledge to travellers. I have traveled to many places so have experienced different cultures and always enjoy meeting new people.
Why they chose this property
My home is in a quiet residential neighbourhood at the end of a cul de sac. It is a safe, well established street. It is a large family home where I raised my family who have moved away. I love that it is close to the forest and lakes. Being in the central north Island it is 3 hours to Auckland, 2.5 hours drive to the ski fields and Tongariro walk. 1 hour to the nearest beach. The climate is average 25C in summer and 12C in winter.
What makes this property unique
You'll be close to most venues so you won't have to spend lots of time travelling. There are 5 beds to accomodate sports groups or families.
