Well this is the third time we've stayed at this property, so that says alot. First stayed when the kids were aged 5-8yrs now they're 18-21yrs and it still a great place to stay. Fabulous location, wonderful space inside, good sized varandah and wonder grounds.

We loved our time at Island Time Villas. The villa was very spacious and well appointed with eveything we needed. The grounds and pool are well kept. Great location too.
The host was very friendly and responed quickly if we had any concerns.
We'll definitely be back some day. 🌞
All previous great reviews were accurate.A lovely roomy and clean house , a short stroll to the beach ,small supermarket, bar and cafes .Loved the pool and the hammock and the host was great to deal with.We will be back.
Jaret was awesome to deal with. Top notch communication, checked in with us to make sure we were all settled in and was only a phone call away if we needed anything. House was very spacious, clean and tidy and great indoor/outdoor flow. Nice outdoor area and pool. Great location with muri a stones throw away, shops right next door and beach across the road. Loved it
The house is great and as described. Very well appointed with everything you could need. Jaret and Amber were very accommodating. Location is great as well. We loved the kayaks that were there for everyone's use and the pool is very nice as well. Grounds are lovely and tidy. And really appreciated the landline so you could make local calls, really helped with organising stuff! Would highly recommend!
We have stayed in Rarotonga three times now, all at beautiful properties, however the Island Times Villa is by far the best from our point of view.
It's the perfect setup for multi-generational family gatherings with two well-appointed houses on a large and well-manicured property; the private swimming pool was perfect. We would get up every morning and sit on under the large verandah in park like surroundings listening to the wildlife, all stress from our real lives dissipated immediately on arrival.
It's a short walk across the road to the beach and at low tide is a wonderful place for children to check out the many sand crabs and sea life. The superette, coffee cart and Mai’i Cafe & Bar was so convenient.
Jaret looked after us so well and was super responsive. It is without reservation I would recommend the Island Times Villas to anyone visiting Rarotonga and if we return to this beautiful Island, it'll be our first choice of accommodation.
Thanks Jaret & Amber.
Fantastic holiday home very close the Muri Beach. Good sized house with a great range of amenities. Well set up kitchen with everything you need. All of the rooms are of a good size and also has a great outdoor covered area. Beautiful, well maintained gardens with heaps of space. Amber and Jaret are excellent hosts and made our stay a wonderful holiday. I can highly recommend this holiday home no problem at all.
Thank you for sharing your villa with us. Such an easy place to stay, with everything we needed. Loved the lush gardens, relaxing on the porch, the hammock and it was great having a pool. Enjoyed takinb the kayaks out. Thanks for the food supplies too! Great coffee cart nearby. Amber and Jaret are warm and friendly hosts!
Our family of 4 loved the spacious house and lawn, great pool area and beautiful gardens. Lovely outdoor spaces. Just across the road to the beach and close to central Muri for restaurants and shops. Wonderful friendly hosts. Quiet neighbourhood. Perfect.
We loved our stay at this villa! The major positives were the communal swimming pool and the immediate close proximity to a bakery, liquor store, small grocery store and independent small restaurants.
Our local hosts were amazing. They looked after all of our needs and we’re a very close call away. In fact, our local car rental agency was also owned by Jarret and Amber ‘go Cook Islands’ ... absolutely fabulous to deal with!
The ocean is located across the road with beautiful black rock stones and lots of hermit crabs and tital pools for the kids to keep busy with!
Rarotonga, you are beautiful and wish to see you again! Xoxoxox Kristin and Gareet Mowat.
Our time in the Cook Islands was perfect, and we loved staying here. We had everything we needed, and the owner was available when we had a couple of questions during our stay. We would absolutely return in the future.
Great property in a good location, we stayed there with 3 babies and was well equipped. Our only struggle was not having air conditioning, but the pool was great to cool off.
Our family of 5 found Island Time Villas the perfect getaway. The location was fabulous, the plunge pool great for quick dips between activities and the house was ideally set up for a family. We loved having the convenience of great coffee right next door.
Villa Kakaia was perfect for our stay. Everything we needed. Like a home away from home. Actually better than ours lol. Away from the crowds. Our 6yr old son couldn't keep out of the pool. Only regret is we didn't book for 2 weeks.
We rented both villas for an extended family holiday. Great location, having our own pool and deck chairs was fantastic. Beds were comfy and the ceiling fans kept the rooms cool. Kitchen well appointed with everything you need. Would recommend you take your own snorkelling gear as villa ones are broken. We had a great time and would definitely recommend the villas to others. You just get so more space than at a resort.
We loved our stay at Island Time Villas. The property is across the road from the beach and as it was windy during our stay we were actually glad to be in a sheltered garden rather than facing the sea. The property is well-located with the Muri shops a short walk in one direction and great snorkelling and Matutu brewery in the other. The house is well set up for young families with kids toys, high chairs and a cot available, playground equipment and plenty of private garden space as well as the pool. We would definitely come back!

Although the weather didn’t really go our way, the houses were amazing,
Our families stayed in both houses, and we had everything that families need. We had kids aged from 2 to 15 and besides unlimited internet for the teenager - because for them life isn’t worth living without it - they were kept entertained. The grounds are beautiful private, and well maintained. Loy was really helpful and friendly. The following suggestions wouldn’t be an issue if it didn’t rain, but an area for parking the car so the grass isn’t damaged by parking on it, and a spare clothesline to set up under the covered awning would be good ides. We would absolutely buy this if we could afford it. I would highly recommend it to any families planning a holiday to Rarotonga.

Great Property
This house has very lovely grounds safe for children. Am glad we ended up in Villa Kakaia because it’s a bit back from the road. Has most things you need. The linen was clean but I could smell other people on the pillows, so was glad I had packed my own. Girls said their beds were very comfy. Awesome DVD selection and the playground was thoroughly enjoyed. Hardly used the pool as the weather went cool but definitely handy if it was super hot. The deck, porch area is fab and you get nice breezes on the east side of the island. Was so easy to dry our washing. All that is needed is a more comfortable living area or lounge suite inside the house. Location is great. Go to the Musuem Cafe for iced chocolate, iced lemonade, choc brownies and pies to die for!! Thanks for having us.

Amazing property and great for walking across the road to the sea, down to Muri Night Market, paddle boarding in the lagoon. Plenty of space for a big family group and very well equipped for self catering.

Why they chose this property
Island Time is a family-owned property - a great place to stay with plenty of room to spread out. The villas are well positioned on the large section with extensive plantings offering great privacy between the two. Each villa has a small selection of dvds, cds, games and books available for use plus WIFI access. We also have a plunge pool on the property for that quick morning or afternoon cool-down plus kayaks for paddling on Muri Lagoon. There are 3 single kayaks for shared use between the two villas. We are approximately 75m from the beach with access via a pathway across the road opposite the villas.
What makes this property unique
Fantastic location at the southern end of Muri and within walking distance to some great restaurants and activities. Close enough to all the action yet far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle of Muri village - here you really can relax and experience "island time".
