Nestled in the Bush overlooking Lake Okareka this spacious and modern 3 bedroom home is the perfect getaway for the family of just a couple. Wake to the sound of birdsong and enjoy the sounds of nature, no traffic or noise of the city. All living is on the ground floor with an open plan kitchen, lounge and dining room. The lounge is heated by a heat pump and/or an excellent wood burner with plenty of wood supplied for your use.

bush around the house was lovely. it was quite a steep driveway tho. house was very comfortable and warm. was clean except for some dirty cups and mugs in the top drawer. good location to Rotorua. easy and good communication with owners. kids loved the spa.

Lovely peaceful location

Great place close to whakarewarewa mountain biking, the redwoods and walking tracks. A lovely peaceful spot and the house is very comfortable with everything you need for a relaxing holiday.

Great spot

Clean and spacious. Perfect set up if you’re planning to use as a base fir biking. It is a bit of a walk down to the water or a very quick drive.

Beautiful home nestled in the ngahere

Thankyou for the beautiful relaxing homestay, we loved the relaxed feeling this home provided nestled in the forest, the only thing we could all say was that the beds were quite uncomfortable and for 6 adults there was only one small oven dish to cook in. The rooms would benefit with some mirrors too, this is not negative feedback just something that may help the owners look to improve in the future :) otherwise everything else was perfect!!

Family Trip October

Amazing outlook and very tranquil settings, loved how quiet and relaxing the property was. All the family loved it for the peace and quiet, the close proximity to the Redwoods and for the space in the home for us to have a home away from home for the long weekend.

Spacious bach in beautiful and quiet area

Close to Rotorua, in a peaceful area right next to lake Okareka. The view from the deck is truly enjoyable with the surrounding hills. The bach is spacious and confortable. A few details: the gate around the fire place is not ideal (but understand it is a security feature for kids most likely). And it would be nice to have more glasses in the kitchen (other than plastic ones). Overall, we did enjoy our stay and would recommand it to others!

Favourite spot for MTB weekends

Our second time at this relaxing and tranquil bach. Suits our sporty family perfectly. Great space, large kitchen and bike storage. We feel so at home here. Thank you for sharing this bach.
