We enjoyed every minute of our stay here in Tarawera. It’s a beautiful spot to enjoy the simple things and spend time with family. The bach was spotless with everything you could possibly need , including comfortable beds, couches, fire, pizza oven and BBQ. We enjoyed the kayaks and walks (in spite of the weather! - would love to come back during summer), as well as all the books, games and DVDs. This is a special place, full of years of happy memories and we’re grateful to have shared it. Jeff was so accommodating and understanding about a last minute date change when family were delayed overseas. A wonderful experience!

A gorgeous location with a simple bach but so many fun extras. Our children spent lots of time out on the kayaks. Being right on the lake was both so practical and also a real treat. We’d love to come back.
