Lake side, private with a large deck taking in the stunning Lake and Mount Tarawera views. Recently renovated, has all the modern appliances. Excellent swimming, fishing, lovely walks and a paradise for all water sports. Four car off street parking, Your own private Jetty to park your boat.10 minute walk to the Rangiuru bay children's playground and shared pumice based tennis court. Lake Tarawera is a great place to holiday where you can unwind and enjoy the tranquility that makes this area truly unique. Only a 15 minute drive to all the tourist delights that Rotorua has to offer.

Large rumpus area (renovated 2021) plus 3rd bedroom downstairs with home theatre TV. Smart TV upstairs. Two Kayaks available, (please read details when you get to the property).
i-pod dock for music., Wi Fi.

Special conditions:
Pets allowed outside only.
Limited parking for boats, boats can be parked at the jetty or at the reserve by the Kariri Point Reserve launching ramp at boat shed bay (approx 200m away)
Refundable bond required, $300 per stay.
January - Minimum of 5 nights booking.
(Any booking for a long weekend eg Labour weekend, Aniversary weekend, half term breaks and any other weekend that creates a long weekend must be for three nights. Easter minimum is four nights.)

Extras: Cleaning (Required, NZ$120.00 per stay); Refundable Bond (Required, NZ$300.00 per stay); NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Bring your own linen (towels, sheets, pillow cases, tea towels and dish cloth).

Great stay with my husbands aunt and uncle visiting from Australia…they were blown away by the view of Lake Tarawera! House was the perfect set up for us and a massive bonus to have our miniature schnauzer Gracie be welcomed as well.

Everything about this property was awesome! We were there for trout fishing opening, so the jetty was perfect, we didn’t have great weather but the views made up for that.. would have been happy to just sit and enjoy the view and not fish in the rain lol! Thanks for opening your home and sharing this stunning spot!

The house was perfect - everything that we needed for our stay. The location is great and the view spectacular. The only issue was that we had to go outside to access one of the bedrooms, which wouldn’t have been an issue, if there hadn’t been thunderstorms…

Great lakeside bach with gorgeous views

Bach was comfortable with everything you need to enjoy a few days relaxing lakeside. The large deck was great & captured sun until mid afternoon. Fireplace warms the open plan lounge & kitchen well. The teens enjoyed extra lounge/bedroom downstairs. Great to have quick access to private jetty & the lake path around to boat shed bay. Would definitely recommend this bach.

My sister and I, husbands and 80yr old mother came here for 3 nights. The mid-level house is lovely with a fabulous picture view of Boatshed Bay, open fire and refurbed kitchen and bathroom. (Upstairs is locked off). Beautiful walks through the bush and around the lakefront, and a highlight was the peaceful paddle around to next bay using the two included kayaks (yay!) If arriving in winter, light the fire immediately as takes ages to warm up the open plan house, even with extra oil and fan heater. Place would be amazing in summer! Definitely recommend it, didn't want to leave.

FAMILY HOLIDAY

The property is in a fantastic location, the jetty easily accommodated our 7m boat. The veiws are absolutely fantastic, unfortunately we had rain the whole time so did not get to see the summit of Tarawera. The batch is well set up, nice kitchen and plenty of space in the living room. The one minor negative was the BBQ had not been cleaned in months.
