Five minute walk to community heated pool, spa and gym/recreation area.

Wonderful lake, river and forest walks on your doorstep, catch a fish for breakfast or get up a sweat on your bike at Sticky Forest.

Low density housing with large sections so lots of space to wander and enjoy an evening stroll.

Ten minute drive into Wanaka township with its cafes, cinemas, boutique shopping, adventure outfitters, sports shops and restaurants.

Mountain hiking within 45 mins, take a fishing or kayaking charter on the lake.
Treble Cone, Cardrona and the Snow Farm all within an hours drive. Fishing charter operator 10 mins away

Spend the day wine tasting at the local wineries and sample some of the great eateries in town.

Special conditions:
Families and family groups preferred.
No pets, no smoking, shoes off at the door.
BBQ must be cleaned before you leave otherwise you will need to pay for the cleaners to do this (normally $50).
No Parties, our neighbours are our friends and we value the relationship.

Perfect Adventure Homebase

We really enjoyed our stay here- it was clean, well equipped, and the perfectly situated in Wanaka. We stayed longer in Queenstown but wished that we had spent the majority of time here. Great area, amazing property!

Pleasant stay

Fantastic property

We have just had the most amazing stay at this house. We had a party of 10 and the kitchen provided great kitchenware for having bbqs and meals at the house. Really quiet location too

Mountain views modern convenience

The property was modern, clean, comfortable, spacious, and well located. Would definitely stay there again. On top of that, Wānaka turned on a week of incredible weather. Couldn't have asked for more.

This is a lovely warm cosy house. Beautiful mountain views. The house is very well equiped and set up for multiple guests. Comfy beds with very warm duvets. Highly recommend.. just a short drive to town

Wanaka accommodation

Outstanding property. Very clean, tidy and has evrrything you need. My guests loved it. Great views of the mountains and close to bike trails with beautiful walks. Great communication with the owners made the trip go bery smoothly. Great stuuf!!!!

Exceptional home

We had the privilege to rent this beautifully presented home whilst we were in Wanaka for my son's wedding. It is very well appointed with high end appliances, crockery and kitchenware, the beds and leather lounges were extremely comfy, plenty of room for all, the hosts have thought of everything. Highly recommend this property and wish we could have stayed longer.

Cosy ski trip

We had a very comfortable stay at this lovely batch, just on the edge of Wanaka. It was spacious but cosy and modern and comfortable with everything you'd need. We were pre-warned that there mightn't be enough hot water for 11 of us but had no issues by splitting showers. Lovely place, lovely, attentive hosts - would stay again!

House was brilliant, well equipped with everything you need. Very comfortable beds & nice linens, comfy couches & good sized dining table for our group of 8, small improvement would be to supply pool towels for use at spa/pool/gym complex and it would have been good to know about the electric hot water before booking as we had 4 teenage girls & six females out of 8 of us. In saying that as long as we were careful with the hot water we didnt run out but for large grouos gas hot water would also be an improvement. The boot & glove dryer was excellent a fir our skiing days. Overall fantastic property and would stay again.

Fabulous large house

We absolutely love this holiday house. It was so well equipped, with all details thought of. Perfect for skiing in cardrona, the house had dryers for ski gloves and was lovely and warm. The views very amazing. Quality linen throughout, stocked pantry and comfortable beds. The hosts were attentive and we needed for nothing. We would happily return in the future.

Comfy Stay

The house worked extremely well for our group. We were two families with 11 and 9 year old girls. There was enough space for us to come back to the house after a day on the mountain to spread out and relax. the house was well resourced and everything that we needed was available. The community spa pool was a nice surprise and well used by our group.

Fully kitted out for large groups

Fantastic house and location. Home was fully equipped to cater for large groups, ours was 12 (8 adults/4 kids) and having a fully equipped kitchen was the best thing. The house was lovely and clean on arrival and house was very spacious for the 12 of us. Extra things available, cleaning, panty items etc were fantastic to find, even we left behind what we didnt want to carry back with us. thanks so much for a wonderful experience, we will certainly stay again if we return to Wanaka.

Shar and I own a veterinary hospital and have 3 adult children and 5 lovely grandchildren .this is out family holiday home and we enjoy the break away from Chch ,4 -5 times a year .
We are keen outdoor sports enthusiasts and enjoy back country MTB trips away,snowboarding and skiing both in NZ ,and in Japan ,the USA and in Italy,fishing,diving and hunting in the backcountry
Shar is a great cook so enjoy hosting family and friends to cook up what we have often gathered from the sea ,our rivers ,lakes and mountains

Why they chose this property

Peninsula bay is a very relaxing spot for a holiday home ,we love the quiet ,the panoramic mountain views, the MTBing right on our door step, the walks down the Clutha and around the lake and the lunch trips to the local wineries .We have a lovely local community ,it is quiet and peaceful away from the hustle and bustle
