The apartment was clean and comfortable, the host had even arranged a bottle of wine for our arrival
The apartment was clean and comfortable, the host had even arranged a bottle of wine for our arrival! Beautiful views. We did have a couple of minor issues with the bathroom fan but the host was quick to get it resolved.

The place was nice and as advertised. Unfortunately whilst I was there I couldn't get the fireplace to work. The host was extremely good at responding so might have sorted the fire out if I had the energy to chase.

Thanks so much for choosing our accomodation. I do wish you would have reached out regarding the fire, it was super simple and easily resolved :)
The apartment is really well set up and as advertised. Julie was great at communicating all the way along. The apartment had plenty of room and nice having the 2 bathrooms (with heated tiles). Undercover parking was good. Easy walk into town but the walk back up was not for the faint hearted (very steep). We did it each night after dinner but if too much, is just a 2 min cab trip. Highly recommend the place.

Gorgeous view, central location and off street parking is a great bonus
Julie’s apartment is just like the pictures. Beautiful view, good size living, dining room and the kitchen has all you need for a short stay. Having two bathrooms was perfect for us as we were travelling with my teenage stepson. Julie was helpful, friendly and pretty quick to respond. She had lots of good suggestions on things to do and places to eat/visit.
Have already recommended to friends who travel to Queenstown regularly.
The apartment is showing some signs of wear and tear but nothing that makes your stay uncomfortable.

Queenstown is extremely busy and driving/parking is tough. This property is close enough (.4 mi) to the city center to walk. If you prefer to drive the property is close to public parking. We found that the road near the primary school often had parking and it is only a block or two from the city center.
The unit itself was very big and nicely appointed, and the washer/dryer was much appreciated, albeit a bit small. The unit was very clean and modern and it’s tough to complain about anything. If anything, there are some small signs of wear on counters and bottom of doors due to water, but the damage was very minimal. I’d rent again.
Location was not described accurately (difficult to access by walking … and we have hiked the Kilimanjaro and the great appalachien mountains . So we are in shape) / when I asked about extra parking (essentially to help us know where to park without getting tickets) no answer whatsoever.. I politely asked twice … yet no answer! Our neighbours downstairs (on the balcony ) smoked weed and we could not stay and enjoy “the view” (which is very partial - not well described on the listing) on our balcony. We have been travelling the world and this is one of the most disappointing stay we have had…. Us (4 respectful and professional adults) were disappointed and felt that we have paid too much for this 2 nights stay.

We are rather surprised by this very odd review. Having checked and double checked, the location map is accurate and displayed on our listing, images also show the location and messages were responded to within an hour. Can only assume the guests were confused with another property when posting this as we know they had travelled throughout NZ

Owner is not a great communicator
The apartment is a decent size and the kitchen is well equipped, although the bedrooms really do not have room for much more than the bed and we had to put several suitcases in the living room. The accessible part of the closet in the second bedroom is taken up by linens and cleaning products. The biggest problem was the lack of communication by the owner. She was slow to respond. There were no instructions at all in the apartment for using the TV, the heat and the washer/dryer. We had to contact her about using the movies on the TV, and her response was "just follow the instructions on the remote". When we tried to do that, we found that there were Chinese characters on the folder titles. She was not helpful and never contacted us to see if we managed ok. It was very cold when we were there and we had trouble figuring out how to use the heat. It seems like it would not be difficult to leave a manual with instructions in the apartment.

The feedback from the guests is inaccurate, and untruthful. I reply to, and respond to all guest enquiries generally within an hour. From time to time, we encounter guests who are best suited to commercial hotel style accomodation. Holiday homes are for the semi-independent traveller
Great communication from Julie and a lovely very clean, warm and quiet apartment. Lots of helpful additions like shampoos, body wash in the bathrooms and a fabulous range of teas. Very happy with our stay here.
Lovely apartment with everything you could need. Nice and quiet, very clean and great location. The covered carpark was ideal. And the hosts are lovely too. Would definitely stay here again.
The apartment was perfect for our family holiday to Queenstown! Very spacious and great views of the lake and gondola. We would def stay here again! Thanks so much to Julie for her contact throughout our stay.
Tidy and well-equipped with kitchen ware, use of white ware and heating. Comfortable beds. Great view from the balcony. Experienced snowfall in spring! Close proximity to town.
We really loved staying at this property. It had a lovely feel when you walked in. It was nice and quiet and thought it was a great location as long as you had a car. We loved the view too. I highly recommend anyone to stay at this lovely property. Hopefully my little family and I will stay there again in the future.
