Gorgeous inside and out

Always an amazing experience, clean and quaint it is the ultimate kiwi ‘Bach’ stay. Location is perfect and host is so easy to communicate with.

Great Little Getaway Spot

4 of us stayed there, it was perfect. Close to Whangarei, Tutukaka, and Matapouri. Loved the views of the water out the front. Very homely.

Heaven on earth

Perfect kiwi bach

We loved everything about this perfect kiwi bach. The view was gorgeous. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. We felt incredibly lucky to have shared what is obviously a much loved family bach. We can’t wait to return.

Great location!

Perfect location for exploring the beautiful Tutukaka coast! Bach is well appointed with everything you need and is conveniently located between a cafe and the local dairy/fish & chip shop. Across the road from the beach and just s short drive from other beautiful beaches in the region. The garden is perfect for a summer getaway with lots of sunny spots to relax in.

Ngunguru stunner

Right in the heart of Ngunguru you can’t go wrong with this property. Perfectly allocated for families and location fabulous. Plenty of space to find a quiet spot or chase the sun. Would highly recommend.

Ngunguru Magic

We had a fantastic Saturday in this great little old-school style bach. It’s got everything you need to launch your Tutukaka Coast adventures. Great comms and really easy to deal with. We loved our stay and will definitely recommend.

A little slice of paradise

Awesome bach in Ngunguru near to all amenities. It had everything you need. Fully fenced which was awesome for our dog and we didnt have to worry about him. Such a lovely spot. Beautiful views looking out to the estuary and sandspit. Thoroughly relaxing.

Stay in paradise

A great lil place to call home for a couple of days. Much needed rest and relaxation. All the comforts of home my children had a ball. Comfortable beds and well presented home. Great communication with the owner easy and fast communication. Enjoyed our stay and will definitely rebook in the future. Thanks a million.

Cool house in a cool village

We all loved this cosy house. The weather didn’t always co-operate so the homely and comforting feel was the perfect fit. The set up was excellent - great beds and the perfect location. The only issue was the fluctuation of the wifi. Even so, we would happily stay here again.

Hi Rahera, thanks for your feedback and pleased you had a nice time. We have just arrived at the Bach and it looks like someone at some stage disconnected the google wi fi in the main bedroom and moved the cord to the front room where it was plugged into the wall probably to use as a charger. This would explain why the internet was erratic as running off one booster only. Working well now.

Ngunguru relaxation

We have stayed before and were happy to stay again. Everything we needed is there. We had some issues with the smart TV buffering/having internet problems which was a little disappointing, but location is great. The house has a café next door on one side and only a couple of steps on the other side to the dairy and two takeaway/dining options, while being straight across the road from the inlet.

Sheer heaven

Loved this property! Photos actually don't do it justice. Loved sitting in the front room having a hot cup of coffee looking at the water - awesome views. Great location in Ngunguru between cafe and diary - close to Tutukaka Coast and other gorgeous bays! Awesome views of the Ngunguru River across the road from the bach. We took our jet-skis with us - property had plenty of room for parking. Loved that we could take our dogs to this location too. House had all the required items. Actually no recommendations for improvement - LOVE THIS HOME!!

Perfectly Located

A quintessential kiwi batch right next to the estuary and all the amenities Ngunguru has to offer. Plenty of room off the road to park our two boats. Will probably book again.

Ngunguru

Fantastic spot right next door to the cafe and two doors down to the dairy and fish and chip shop. Plenty of heating for mid winter and a great central location looking over the road to the estuary. As a bonus this is dog friendly. Will definitely be back some day soon.
