Welcome to our little piece of paradise, close enough to the Hanmer Springs village (2 minutes drive or 10-15 minute walk) to enjoy all that this alpine village has to offer, yet with a tranquil outlook over the mountains and forest that will take your breath away. Nestled onto the hillside of Acheron Heights, our home is beautifully secluded with uninterrupted views over the forest, Conical Hill and up to Mount Isobel.

Relax with a BBQ on the north facing deck, take in the views of the surrounding mountainside and listen to the birdsong. For those with a bit more energy, our property has access directly into the forest park full of walking and mountain biking tracks.

There is a spacious living and dining area, and all the mod-cons (Wifi, Chromecast etc) to make your stay more comfortable.

Sleeping arrangements include a queen size bedroom, a room with a double bed and a small third bedroom with a set of bunks. There is a sofa bed in the lounge should you need it.

The stunning location, gorgeous log fire, well appointed kitchen and plenty of books and games will ensure you have a holiday to remember. We love our family holidays in this magic location and are excited to be able to share it with you.

NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to bring your own linen (towels/sheets etc) and clean the property for the next visitors (cleaning available for an extra $100 per stay ).
