We were very pleased with this property. It suited our needs, well appointed, warm and comfortable and easy to bring our dog. Great location so close to village and good walks. Would stay again.Host was very attentive.

The house is below par in heating due to minimal insulation, high ceiling and single glazing. The heat pump and electric heaters were not able to maintain an agreeable temperature with below zero temperatures outside. I know New Zealanders are used to bad heating, but we as Europeans feel this house is NOT COMFORTABLE. Even with the log fire going...
