Great place to stay, plenty of room for all of us. House had everything you could possibly need and more. Great location, not far from where we wanted to go. Would stay there again!!
A group of 12 of us stayed at this property for a couple of nights and it was absolutely brilliant. Such a spacious and inviting home with plenty of space to accommodate large groups. Angela was easy to deal with and we all had a very enjoyable stay.
Had a great two nights at this property. Plenty of space for our large group. Very warm in the cool autumn weather. Spa was a bonus. Just what we needed. Thanks.
Lovely home, lots of space. Really clean and easy to communicate with.
The hot tub and massage chair were a great added bonus!
We will definitely be back.
Thanks
A really nice place with everything we needed. Only downside was that we didn’t check the bedroom configuration. With the listing stating it could host up to 12 people we thought it would be comfortable for our party of 9 but with three single bedrooms, two of the kids were on mattresses. Older teens weren’t a fan!

Thanks for booking our home and I'm glad you had a nice stay.
Just to clarify on the beds, no one was on a mattress on the floor, they were on trundler beds with sprung mattresses. I keep the trundler beds lowered, when setting up as 2 single beds, as it provides for more space in the rooms.
They could have been raised up onto their legs had you so wished.
The owner was excellent to deal with. We enjoyed the spa and the big table on the deck seated 10 (not pictured in the online listing). The house had everything we needed for a relaxed extended family holiday. It's the family's home, so there is plenty of cutlery & crockery, and also supplies for baking, cooking, laundry etc, which was a bonus. However, this also meant there was no space for our things: An empty drawer here or there would make a big difference. Also, bear in mind if you have more than eight people, the extra people will be in a fold-out sofa bed and one will be in a child's bed, neither of which is comfortable for adults. The location was good - within 20 minutes you can ride a bike (bikes not supplied) to about 5 vineyards.
Perfect for what our group needed. We stayed in the Hawkes Bay for a wedding. Angela was very accommodating. Thanks again!

Very good
Very good. Property well-equipped and very clean. It lived up to our expectations. An interesting house. We would have liked more cupboard space to have been cleared.

This is an absolutely amazing property for a multi family group with young children.
This is an absolutely amazing property for a multi family group with young children. There are so many inside and outside toys that we got out very few of the toys we had brought with us. The kids loved things like the pretty plastic plates, the lights in some of the taps, the playhut, the trampoline, the books, and the boxes of toys full of treasures. The adults loved the good facilities in bathrooms and kitchen, the many different areas, and its convenient location.

Great family room downstairs that was welcoming and comfy.
Great family room downstairs that was welcoming and comfy. Tidy house with great linen. Location was great, only 15 minutes from Hastings and 20 mins from Napier. Havelock North village was minutes away and had a great local park and outdoor pools. The property suits a family with young kids, with heaps of toys for the kids to keep them entertained. It also has a lot of stairs so may not suit elderly. Great sheltered deck area for lounging. Enjoyed our stay here, would recommend to others.

Huge house.
Huge house. My grandchildren enjoyed the various spaces available. The adults can have a quiet space on their own if they chose to. The deck area is fabulous.
My daughter brought some of her children's toys with them but they were not needed because there were lots of toys left for them to play with (good quality ones too).
Kitchen was well equipped. All around it was wonderful.
Location is fantastic. Near vineyards which my daughter and her husband enjoyed.

About the host

I’m local to Hawke’s Bay and make the house available when it’s not in use. It’s a relaxed, practical place that suits families and groups, and I aim to make the stay as easy and comfortable as possible. I’m nearby if needed, but happy to give guests their space.
Why they chose this property
Havelock North has a great village feel, with walking tracks, parks, and green spaces I enjoy regularly. It’s a quiet spot, but still well located for reaching the beach or exploring the rest of Hawke’s Bay. I like the slower pace, but there’s always something nearby if you want it.
What makes this property unique
The house is spacious, private, and easy to settle into. It’s peaceful and quiet here, ideal for groups wanting room to relax and spend time together. It’s not overly styled, but it’s clean, comfortable, and set up with everything you need for a simple, enjoyable stay.
