A comfortable home ideal for families or groups visiting Hawke’s Bay. Set over three levels, the house is easy for groups, with multiple living areas and practical touches that make longer stays simple.

You’ll find board games, books and toys, along with extra pillows and blankets to keep everyone comfortable. Outside, there’s a trampoline in the front yard, plus a basketball hoop and a volleyball/badminton net in the backyard for casual outdoor fun. A table tennis table and a Crazy Catch rebound net can also be made available on request. There’s also a spa pool on-site – a simple, relaxing bonus after a day out exploring.

Located in Havelock North, you’re well placed to enjoy everything the region has to offer, from beaches and parks to wineries and walking trails. Te Mata Peak is close by for great views, and you’ll be spoiled for choice when it comes to food and wine. Black Barn Vineyards is nearby – around a 2-minute drive or approximately a 20-minute walk – making it an easy option for lunch, wine, or a relaxed outing.

At the end of the road are three local schools – Havelock North High School, Havelock North Intermediate, and Te Mata School – roughly a 10-minute walk or about a minute by car. Outside school hours, guests can make use of the public-access areas, including:

• Sports fields suitable for soccer, rugby, cricket, and throwing a frisbee
• Playgrounds

Special conditions
• There are three internal staircases and no stair gates – please bring your own if needed.
• The trampoline is in the front yard and does not have a safety net; use at your discretion.
• It’s a peaceful spot with lovely neighbours, so we ask guests to keep things quiet in the evenings.
• We try to be flexible where we can; if you have a request, let us know in advance and we’ll do our best.
