The house is on an elevated section with multiple levels and decks providing both indoor and outdoor living. The house has been constructed to a high standard with western red cedar cladding,, fully insulated with double glazed windows and doors, concrete drive and two car garaging.
Piha is New Zealand's most famous surf beach and destination for those interested in surfing, swimming, rock fishing and bush walking in the Waitakere Ranges. Sea conditions can vary from calm to dangerous with up to 4m swells crashing in from the Tasman Sea creating treacherous rips along the ironsand beach. Piha is noted for its stunning views, the sound of the surf and spectacular sunsets.

A perfect family getaway

We needed a place to relax and unwind for a few days and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place. The house is open and spacious with cozy areas to curl up with a book. Tucked into the landscape, it felt secluded but is only a short walk to beautiful Piha beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Amazing Views

This house is beautifully designed and has 3 queen bedrooms with spectacular views over Piha and a 4th bedroom with a queen bed. It has a great vibe and is well outfitted with comfortable beds and a well stocked cupboard. Short walk to beach. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return. Thank you Ken.

Views to die for

Fantastic home and view. Plenty of room for the family to relax. The owner was extremely helpful with excellent communication and comprehensive instructions. We made the mistake of taking our high top van which did not fit under overhanging pohutukawa on the driveway so had to park on the roadside and carry everything up a very steep driveway. We had a wonderful weekend and would highly recommend this property to others.

Love this quieter side of Piha, effortless drop down to the beach, stunning sunset views. Everything you need is right here, easiest escape from the city! Ken is great, gave us some of his venison sausages. The layout is fantastic, easy to have your own space or join together to entertain. Ten stars!

Awesome place

Great house and location for our family long weekend. The house had everything we needed with plenty of space for us 6 adults. The views from a number of rooms and decks were awesome. The driveway is steep but workable. I would highly recommend staying at this place!

Absolutely stunning views from this property. A spacious, light and airy house with many inviting positions in which to relax and enjoy the view and sound of waves crashing. Located in a quiet area with fantastic walks nearby including of course within 1 minute easy access to the beach.
