About this property

Stunning estuary and coastal views

A lovely home away from home. 90's style house. Enjoy the expansive coastal and estuary views from the comfort of the deck. A two minute walk will take you to the estuary, where the children can safely swim and play, as ours did for many years. The estuary provides a great venue for waterskiing, sailing or kite boarding. Golf course, shops and cafes only a 2 minute drive or 15 minute walk away. Enjoy the charm of the Village markets each Saturday morning. Plenty of walks around the area. Close to other beaches e.g. Lang's Beach and Waipu Cove.
Special conditions:
* No cleaning fees. We would expect you to clean the property before leaving.
* Must agree to the conditions set out in our house contract which would be attached to our answer to your inquiry.

NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Clean the house and do the dishes before you leave; Bring your own linen (towels/sheets/tea towels);

Hi Caitlin. I’m glad you had a good stay. You maybe wondering why I gave you a poor rating. One of the conditions when you stay at Blue’s is that you clean the house. Vacuum, clean bathrooms, showers and kitchen. As soon as we opened the front door, we could clearly see that the carpet hadn’t been vacuumed. The bathrooms hadn’t been cleaned. We had more guests arriving at 2pm. We spent nearly 4 hours getting the place cleaned . We could tell that you and your friends had looked after the property. Best wishes for 2023! Cheers Kim

This is our second time here and we loved it just as much as our first stay. 20min walk to the shops. Perfect for teens. We will miss the amazing view.

Amazing views and location. Property was clean and tidy. The photos didn’t do it justice. Was perfect for our grown family as everyone had their own space. We will definitely book again at some stage.

Had a most enjoyable stay at this holiday home. We were pleasantly surprised by the size as it is much bigger than it looks and it accommodated our group of adults very well. Amazing location with views to the estuary and sand dunes. Would definitely stay here again given the opportunity

Home away from home

Fantastic 'holiday home' although it was short, we had a wonderful stay with our grown up family, we were pleasantly surprised with the outlay of this home, you can have 3x couples and you had different ends of the house, so you didn't feel you were on top of each other, we fell in love with Manawhai and would really like to return. Thank you very much to the owners for allowing us the opportunity to stay in there beach home

Amazing location of the house which faces the estuary and sand dunes.

Amazing location of the house which faces the estuary and sand dunes. We loved our time there, even over the two stormy days we didn't feel cabin fever. The house is deceptively spacious on the inside and we love the connection to the sleepout via the atrium. It's a shame our family couldn't join us this year, as there is so much room for privacy.
